6 minute exposure at sunset in York, Maine. Was pretty cloudy, and liked the effect of the clouds moving over he ocean and the fine rocks bordering the beach.
***UPDATE*** Was a winner of the "Luminous Sky contest" at "The Award Tree" group and is featured on the front page during the week of Sept 4, 2010
The severe extremes of weather that pound the High Plains of Western Nebraska are hard for any exposed structure
The weird part about this photo is that less than 30 minutes later the clouds all disappeared!
3 exposure, -2, 0, +2, and processed in Photomatrix
Thank you for all your kind comments, invites, faves, and awards!
Rain returned to San Francisco on Saturday but stopped just long enough for a visit to Rincon Park along The Embarcadero for some long exposure work.
Actually, the beetle is in the back of the leaf. Without the sunlight, I wouldn't have noticed it.

Hello there! My first-or second try for long exposure with my phone! I downloaded an app to do this shot, but i don't know why it saves it like 800x400 ... it's so small and excuse me for that! Have a nice day! :)

I'm not sure how many times I clicked on this...I just couldn't stop and have been really inspired by some of the wonderful double/triple exposures I've seen on flickr

A long exposure I got last night when I went out with my Dad and my mate Keenan.
The sky was really foggy so I'm really surprised that it came out like this.

My first attempt at 120+ sec long exposure. There is blur in branches on the left, due to breeze and some strange blue haze near there as well. What are your thoughts? Ken has started something now...more to come.
I need some help choosing between these 3 photos. Please let me know which one you like best. I like all three of these, so I might keep them all.

I finally got some long exposures of this car. It seems I never get the cloud action needed to shoot long exposures like this. Of course all day, while at work, the cloud conditions were perfect. Taunting me every time we had a break. Well, to my luck the conditions were still favourable after work on my way home so I headed to my favourite car. At first the clouds weren't that great but while shooting this big cloud starting rolling in straight for me. This shot is the result of that cloud with a 4 minute exposure.
