[en] This is a magical place in the Basque Country (there are lots of then in the land of the Basques). It's called Gaztelugatxe Doniene in our language, and the title comes from a popular song.

Technically, this photo combines two different exposures which I've blended in ps. Any positive o negative comments will be appreciated.

[en] The last weekend to see the milky way this year, and I choose to go to Segovia, Hoces del Duraton. But Madrid has so huge light pollution, although it is 130 km far away, that the Galactic Center is hidden in this position.

This image is done by blending two different exposures, one for the sky (iso 4000 30s) and other one for the ground, (iso 800 10minutes).

[eu] Esne bidea aurten ikusteko azken aukera izan da aurreko astegoiena, eta Segoviara joatea, Hoces del Duraton, erabaki neban.

Baina Madrideko argiaren kutsaduragatik, esne bidearen Erdigune Galaktikoa ez da ikusten, kutsaduragatik janda dago. Ta hori Madrid 130km dagoela.

Teknikoki argazki hau egiteko bi exposizio hartu behar dira, tripodea mugitu barik. Bata zeruarentzat (iso 4000 30s) eta bestea lurra eta errekarako (iso 800 10minutu).

Here's a shot from the same sequence I posted a frame of the other day, but earlier in the morning before the early blue light of day began to light up the sky.

[en] I'd to weak up very early in the morning. The moon-set was at 5:10am, and after it the Milky way was going to be visible during no more than haft an hour. I knew that the surrounding mountains were full of snow, so I decided to go to Pazuengos (the light that you can see in the middle of the picture), and try to get the Milky Way, the mountains and the small village (31 inhabitants). Hope you like it.
