Another shot from the night walk with Andrew recently. I think from every night trip into the city I end up with at least one "Empty Seat" shot. This is from the walkway along the river to Melbourne Aquarium, which can be seen in the background.

Das Empty Sky Memorial in New Jersey ist die offizielle Gedenkstätte für die 746 Opfer aus New Jersey, die während der Anschläge am 11. September 2001 ums Leben gekommen sind.
Das Denkmal besteht aus zwei Wänden und einem Pfad aus Granit, der dazwischen verläuft und Richtung Ground Zero weist, dem Ort, an dem einst die Twin Towers standen.
Die Namen der 746 Opfer sind in das Denkmal eingraviert. Der Name der Gedenkstätte stammt vom Lied „Empty Sky“ von Bruce Springsteen, das vom „leeren Himmel“ handelt, den die Türme hinterlassen haben.

Union Pacific 1907 leads an northbound string of Empty Sand Hoppers through Sharon, Wisconsin. Anyone have a guess as to what happens next? Will these cars be stored in Janesville or Prairie Du Chein? Thanks to Joel Kirchner for the Heads Up, always nice to catch something on the Muscle Line even if its 5 degrees with 25 mph winds!
As as matter of fact this empty vessel doesn't sound much. The River carrier returns to base after unloading Cargo in a nearby river port . I shot the picture from Basila Bridge, Dhaka.
