Dasht-e Lut (Persian: کویر لوت, "Emptiness Desert"), known as the Lut Desert, is a large desert in southeastern Kerman Iran and is the world's 25th largest desert.
The surface of the sand there has been measured at temperatures as high as 70.7°C (159°F), and it is one of the world's driest and hottest places.

Lost in excess of impressions,
In search for the soul of light,
Where silence is born from emptiness.
'you're an interesting species. an interesting mix. you're capable of such beautiful dreams, and such horrible nightmares. you feel so lost, so cut off, so alone, only you're not. see, in all our searching, the only thing we've found that makes the emptiness bearable, is each other.'

The kitchen at the monastery is lit by a sunbeam only. I can still hear the brothers of the Friars Minor singing, eventhough they left the place some hours ago. I love this place so much!

While this abandoned farmhouse was empty of humans, it was inhabited by a large flock of birds who flew frantically away as we approached.
This is the feeling i have at this moment ... Emptiness..nothingness ... sometimes it's just the best feeling to feel nothing at all .. you just sit in front the sea and think of ....nothing...

Haradangervidda is a mountain plateau in central southern Norway. It covers about 6,500 km2 (2,500 sq mi) at an average elevation of 1,100 m (3,500 ft) and it's the largest of its kind in Europe. The landscape of the Hardangervidda is characterised by barren, treeless moorland interrupted by numerous pools, lakes, rivers and streams.
I've been there a few times and always enjoy driving through the vast emptiness...
