Eastham Cape Cod
This church was the subject Edward Hopper’s 1928 watercolor “Church in Eastham”. The painting has recently been consigned by the Whitney Museum of American Art to benefit the museum’s future acquisitions fund. It is expected to bring $2 million-$3 million.
During the Great London Snowstorm of February 2009 - even the Traffic Wardens suspended the ticketing of illegally parked cars!
Eastham Docks Substation visited at night. i've been past this place loads of times and after findng a few photos online(www.derelictplaces.co.uk/main/showthread.php?t=15177#.U5A...) i thought i'd give it a go at night as the pillars on the water cooling towers looked like they might work in a photo.
the above shot was taken using an old tripod as a torch stand for the backlighting and shadows.
