Machine Project is an incredible place in Los Angeles where art, technology, craft, the sublime, the bizarre, and beyond come together. They rely on donations to maintain operation, so consider supporting them if you can.

The flying saucer oven that Eric and I built for Dorkbake. We cooked the two mint chocolate star-shaped cakes in the oven, which is powered by a 100-watt light bulb.

Capable of achieving heat of 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Not too shabby for a 100 watt bulb, two light hoods and some speaker grill. The stand, pizza tray rim and LEDs are for flair, natch.
