Camp Washington neighborhood of Cincinnati, Ohio. Why do we let these beautiful old homes deteriorate? I doubt that this one is much older than mine, but the architectural details are much nicer than those on mine. I guess they just fall into the hands of people that can't afford to keep them up, so the next thing you know they and a big part of our history are gone. It appears that water damage is playing a big part in this one's demise.

This type of window - with an icon below - can be found all over Prague.
This particular one is in Mala Strana - the figure of the Virgin and Child to protect the house, the lion is the symblol of Czech Kingdom and above it the Papal coat of arms .
They certainly also "dress" a building giving them a very noble apperance.

Gorgeous architecture in the town of San Juan de los Lagos, Mexico. I believe this is a hotel. It's near the Cathedral, and just down the street from our family friend's house in Central San Juan.
