The sun was setting - casting light on the door, tree shadows on the building, and reflections in the window. Seen at Toronto Island.

I guess there is some story to the piece of timber over the door, it must be part of an old ship. I took this picture in Passage East, a pretty little fishing village a few miles from Waterford city.
The kitchen door of the Kliphuis restaurant in Kamieskroon, South Africa. All sorts of "yummy" things can be found behind it, according to the sign, written in Afrikaans.
Kliphuis = stone house.
Kombuis = kitchen; eetgoed = things to eat; lekkergoed = yummy things; drinkgoed = drinks; soetgoed = sweets; mooigoed = nice things.
Uploaded for Sliders Sunday and Wall Wednesday later this week.
Have a great day, everyone!
A really cool door outside of this abandoned power station on the eastside of Windsor.
At least I think its abandoned.

In our life we should take to consideration that our way are not full with Flowers and all Doors are Open ... No Every one Must do his\her best to Open the close Doors and improve his\her self in the society and be strong to face the barriers in his\her way...

“When one door of happiness closes, another opens; but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one which has been opened for us.” (Helen Keller)
We climbed 600 metres on our bikes to reach this village. The wind was blowing so hard, and it added to the old worn feel of this beautiful town.
-Added to theCream of the Crop pool as most interesting.

Colourful door in Harcourt Terrace, Dublin
This photograph has been put onto pinterest without my permission
I just love doors. Especially old doors. This is Nyhavn 65 - Sail, Compass and Flag makers in the Nyhavn district of Copenhagen. The date says 1737. This place was open for business almost 40 years before America's independence.
This pictures is composed of three seperate shots at three different exposures. All hand held and on a rather gloomy, overcast day.
One of my Flickr contacts posted a shot today that had me take a double look. It was a blue door just like this one...so much so that I had to open up my shot and see if it was the same door.

It is a little different, but was pretty crazy to see a door shot so close to this. I took it in Sifnos Greece. I had not planned on posting it so soon, since I am posting shots in the order of when I took them, but I wanted her to see it.
