Shrugging off the weather, the CP business train was on the Sabula draw bridge as the rain poured down and the Mississippi was on the rise. Also shrugging off the weather were the many photographers out chasing this thing.

Since the CP business train most likely will never have a GP20C ECO splitting a pair of FP9s again, this was a consist that required documentation.

And yes, Guss forged that water like a nimble ninja to perch himself on those slick rocks like a professional documentary photographer should.

She fell down and I thought it also to document, sure is safe ;)

Nickel Plate 765 has her day in the sun as she departs Norfolk Southern's Calumet Yard on her way back home to Fort Wayne in 2014.

At the time, the Roadrailer in the background was just that-something in the background. But time ran out on the Fort Wayne to Minneapolis service, and it soon disappeared, displacing the traffic back onto Interstate 94.

The 765 has been back to Calumet a few more times over the years, but it was fortunate to have documented that background Roadrailer.

Just some papers on the table - accidentally taken with long exposure settings on camera. I used a slightly adjusted template of the Nik Collection plugin "Analog Efex Pro" to obtain this "interesting" look I do like so much. And yes, here it is. :))

Tools: Aperture, Analog Efex Pro, Pixelmator.

at The State Archives, Venice. All the ancient documents - millions of them - many correspondences from all over Europe and beyond, are kept here, and are being digitalised. A mammoth task, requiring great skills and knowledge, not to mention up to date technology and lots of time.
