...not to fall in love with this bridge. I crossed it with a few friends this weekend and it never gets old.
Can you spot the new World Trade Center tower?

The selfish pride of a human heart carries in its grasp the inevitable reduction of self to a singular diminished dimension.

As always, a photo each day for 365 days. All shot and edited using Apps on my iPhone 5.
The photo was taken using the camera App ProCamera for iPhone. The original image can be found below.
First of all I used PhotoToaster to edit the photo. The edits were made by sharpening the image and then adding some extra vibrancy. I then applied the Conflicted filter to the picture to blur the edges of the image. I then used the App Distressed FX to add extra texture to the image using the Cole overlay and the Lade Texture. Last of all I passed the image through an App called Alt Photo using the Landscape Color Film filter.
The original photo was taken this afternoon. It is of the River Sherbourne in Coventry. I liked the way the tree reflected in the river.
Taken with my Olympus OMD Em1markii. Processed with Snapseed, Photo Toaster, Enlight app and Distressedfx.
It was -13 F on my drive in to work this morning. I stopped my vehicle and captured this barn with my Canon T2i/550D. I processed it on the iPad using Google Snapseed creating a B&W image. Then I processed it with DistressedFX to reintroduce color and add texture.
I used the actual zoom on the iPhone 7+. No digital zoom. The 7+ actually has two cameras -- one wide angle and the other twice as close.
Today's image was taken near to the Hawkesbury village area on the edge of Coventry. It is a view looking towards an old Engine house (or Pump House) at the junction, of both the Coventry and Oxford Canals. The building is actually situated on the Coventry canal side of the junction.
The photo was taken using the App 645 Pro on my iPhone 6.
First I used the app Lightroom to edit the image. I cropped and straightened the picture, then added the Dynamic Colour preset. I then applied some Clarity and a little of the Dehaze feature. I also boosted the saturation and vibrance of the image. Next I used the app Painteresque to add a custom version of the Painteresque 2 preset. I then used DistressedFX to add the Old Souls overlay and the Cedar texture. I finally used PhotoToaster to add the Tuneup preset, the Vibrant FX, a medium dark vignette. I then added the Canvas texture and the Charcoal frame.
Original photo taken with my old Nikon from Kerry Park on Seattle's Queen Anne Hill. Then transferred to the iPad for a little pixel sliding in Snapseed and DistressedFX. Happy Slider's Sunday!
Ha! I started to type "snackables" instead of "stackables" in the tags. Maybe I'm hungry. ;-)
Note: Replaced file soon after posting. Posted wrong version of about 200 (ok, I exaggerate a bit.)
Today's image was taken early this afternoon in the Coundon area of Coventry. It is a view of St Catherine's Well. This Grade II listed building is without doubt the oldest structure in Coundon and stands in the middle of a residential area. It is situated between a couple of houses and is fenced off and inaccessible. Not a lot is really known about this structure. It is said that this Red Sandstone building dates back to the early 15th Century. It is also said that this Well was once used to supply water to the nearby area of Spon End.
The photo was taken using the App ExposerGL on my iPhone 6.
First I used the app Snapseed to edit the image. I cropped the image and then applied the Tonal Contrast preset. I then applied a little extra warmth and saturation to the picture. Next I used the app DistressedFX to add the Birds as an overlay and the Charm texture. I flattened the image then added the Stirred overlay and the Vanilla texture. Finally I used AltPhoto to apply the Warm Colour Film preset to the image.
Today's image was taken in the village of Berkswell. The view is of one of the quaint old buildings that forms the heart of the village. I think that it is called Beehive Cottage.
The photo was taken using the app ExposerGL on my iPhone 6.
First I used the app Lightroom mobile to edit the image. I applied he Dynamic Colour preset. Then I changed the white balance and added a little extra clarity and noise reduction. Next I used the app DistressedFX to add the Stirred overlay and the Lade texture. Finally I used PhotoToaster to add the Recover Highlights preset, a medium dark vignette. I then added the Slate texture and the Burlap frame.
Thanks for all the awards, comments and favorites and for taking the time to view and comment. After being on flickr for a few years this photo has received the most attention of any photo I have posted!! Edited with GlazeApp & DistressedFX
30/365 - Saw this bird sitting in the tree, this is a crop from a much larger shot. The branch and bird were edited in tangledfx to simplify their shape. The image then went through Snapseed and mextures for some added textures. Added the other birds in superimpose from a saved mask made from distressedfx.
