View of the beautiful cruise ship Disney Dream, as she stands docked in Nassau of the Bahamas.
The Dream was scheduled to remain in port until much later this particular night, so I was fortunate to have an opportunity to photograph her with twilight as a backdrop.

i haven't rolled out anything new from disney lately..despite being at two different parks on different continents in the span of a month and not showing much proves where my interests have been hanging out lately. don't get me wrong I LOVE DISNEY AND I LOVE SHOOTING AT DISNEY. but i'm currently spent on finding something new and creative to shoot at disney parks. So I go sans camera and enjoy them like I've always had with my family. I don't expect this creative block will last long. I'm always inspired by looking at new ways to shoot subjects... maybe something will come up and i'll say to myself..yeah that'll work! in the meantime here's some imagination that's been hanging around from a while back.
Disney's Boardwalk after a fun evening taking pictures inside EPCOT.
On my last trip there was lots of rain and overcast. Luckily, I got to loop the Great Movie Ride a few times to wait out the rain. I was also lucky enough to be saved by a fellow Distographer Aunesty, who came to save me with a beach umbrella. Needless to say, we continued shooting this evening. Here is a quick shot facing the entrance of Hollywood Studios. We were one of the last ones to leave because the park had cleared out quite a bit earlier due to the downpour. Thanks for looking and have a great day.

Experimenting with a new HDR technique with some old photos from Walt Disney World.
My one requirement of the new technique was that I had to do each picture in less than 60 seconds.
Chalk me up as a person who did not mind the CALIFORNIA letters in front of the park formerly known as Disney'S California Adventure. But I really like the old new facade. The whole park is such a home run now.

From Walt Disney Animation Studios comes “Moana,” a sweeping, CG-animated comedy-adventure about a spirited teenager on an impossible mission to fulfill her ancestors' quest. A born navigator, Moana sets sail from the ancient South Pacific islands of Oceania in search of a fabled island. During her incredible journey, she teams up with her hero, the legendary demi-god Maui, to traverse the open ocean on an action-packed voyage, encountering enormous sea creatures, breathtaking underworlds and ancient folklore. Directed by the renowned filmmaking team of Ron Clements and John Musker ("The Little Mermaid," "The Princess and the Frog," "Aladdin"), "Moana" arrives in theaters in late 2016. ©2014 Disney. Disney's Animal Kingdom. Thanks for looking and have a great day!
I took a bit of a gamble and spent quite a bit on a batch of old postcards over on evilbay. Most of them turned out to be boring but there were a few gems like this :)
I'm not much of a Disney Fan but I've always found the castles pretty.

A beautiful night and neon!

The lights from Mad T Party shine above the park at night.
The best time to shoot them? About every 5 minutes they stop for a rest so you can get a good exposure.
Nice of Disney to do that for us!
Frontierland first appeared in Disneyland as one of five original themed lands. Conceived by Walt Disney, the land did not initially contain many attractions, but centered on open expanses of wilderness which could be traversed by guests via stagecoach, pack mules and walking trails. The Mine Train Thru Nature's Wonderland opened in 1960, consisting of a sedate train ride around various western landscape dioramas. The Mine Train closed in 1977 to make way for a new attraction; the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, which opened in 1979.
Disneyland also once had a Marshal's office, honoring Waillard P. Bounds, Walt's father-in-law, who was actually a U. S. Marshal. Disneyland's Frontierland gateway is constructed of ponderosa pine logs. The land's long shoreline along the Rivers of America is considered a prime viewing location for the nighttime Fantasmic! show. The docks to both the Mark Twain Riverboat and the Sailing Ship Columbia, (a replica of American explorer Robert Gray's 18th century ship that circumnavigated the globe) are located here, and Tom Sawyer Island in the river's center is also considered a property of Frontierland
Frontierland's buildings have lots of detail too. On the roof of the Westward Ho Trading Co., there are elk or deer antlers. Elk antlers were commonly placed on general stores in the old west so cowboys coming into town immediately knew where to get supplies. Also in Frontierland is a building that has a large sign that says "Laod Bhang Co. Fireworks Factory". Plus, at the storefront marked "Crockett and Russel Hat Co.", you'll find a window honoring Fess Parker, who played Davy Crockett in Walt Disney's Davy Crockett. Frontierland borders Fantasyland (via the Big Thunder Trail), New Orleans Square and Adventureland, and connects to the Central Plaza through an iconic set of fort-style gates.

I've been neglecting my poor Disney Princesses, so I thought I would redress them in some fashion fever dresses. I love seeing them in modern clothes :)
