I am so glad that this day has come and I am finally posting my last photo for the 365 SP project!
I started this project in anticipation of Mr.Bee's return from his deployment overseas, hoping that the days would pass by quickly if I took up a new hobby.
Although it's been such an emotional year, to my surprise, I found tremendous support from my Flickr friends who have offered their words of support and encouragement throughout the toughest days. Without them, I would have given up on this project before my 100 day mark.
Again, thank you for your support and kind words of encouragement to see me through this project. I've enjoyed your comments very much!
And no, there is definitely no Year 2 for me! :)

This is image #100 in my 365 project. I had my doubts that I would get this far, but here I am!
Today's challenge in Our Daily Challenge is Empty so that was the inspiration behind this image. I took lots of shots with a 100 in them and didn't like one of them. So, no telltale 100 but its festive! LOL!
A little slide from my mirror today, seems I spend a lot of time in this window, hoping for a studio some day soon

Glad i completed the thirty day challenge - it's been very interesting and I even learnt a couple of things, made a couple of new friends and had a few good laughs!
I look different with my hair darker - but what the hell a change is as god as a holiday!!

Happy New Decade
I think this is one of the best sunsets I've ever seen. I always spend my time watching the sunset at the end of the day. You could see the sun rays pass through the clouds and it's just so glorious. :3 :3

So photoshop trial ran out and then i got off track. BUT i'm back again and best of all i got my 120 film developed and thats what your looking at right now. I love how the shots came out and theres more from that roll to come. Oh this is my sister in maine.
Yes, I cracked under the pressure of being an Exlpore whore and here is proof. My final installment for the sock photos is, where else? The tub.

And now I have fulfilled my promise to dear Noah where I said I would put up photos of the new socks that I got that I won from him. Whew. So I think even though they were a big hit, I will probably take a break from the socks for a while. Damn, now I have think of something else...
Standing on the catwalk railing over the window shutter at day's end, grateful for the privileged lodging just inside.
A stopped-down aperture and tripod rendered sun-star effect and full depth-of-field.
Taken at Twin Lakes Beach, on the south basin of Lake Manitoba.
I used a total of four textures here - 3 thanks to Jenny and one from the Fly Edges collection. Some texture layers I left as is, others I blurred to remove some of the deeper texture details. I took a rather blown out sky and made it into something dark and stormy - just like the weather we've had lately.
My title is a reference to the cinematographic technique, "day for night" or "nuit américane" used to simulate a night scene shot in the daytime to create the illusion of darkness or moonlight.

Right now I'm working on Charcoal portrait job
I still have quite a few left to do and I have to get cracking.
Once I sit down and start drawing.. I get into the zone. that's when I feel most like myself and entirely in the moment. Everything around me fades away.

We had a fairly significant snowstorm today. I haven't seen the official amounts but we had 7 - 8 inches in our 'hood. So off we went, him manning the snow thrower, me with the shovel. First the steps, then the driveway, then the right of way, then the neighbors. This is the neighbors fence.

In the beginning the world was covered in the dark void, a voice whisper then spaces filled with thoughts. Came man, he filled the world with stories, in each stories lights shine. From then on lights shine up the past, guide the present and lead the future.
