"You Can Call Me Flower"
This is a quickie so I can catch the late showing of George Romero's Diary of the Dead tonight. It's a limited release and who knows how long it will be here.

Day 130 - We saw a double rainbow yesterday, but we didn't take a picture. Today I created my own rainbow.
This is the second picture I am dedicating to those doing a 365 project. Sometimes you have to dig a little deeper and find the rainbows inside yourself.
I took this shot in the pouring rain and then manipulated it a little ;) For the real nerds out there, you'll notice that the colors get smaller based on wavelength.

I know I don't say much, but I would really like to take this opportunity to thank any and everyone who has ever left a comment, added one of my photos as a favorite, or put a photo of mine in one of their galleries. I really do appreciate it, and it means a lot to me. I started this project three hundred and sixty five days ago totally on a whim, and I'm so happy that I decided to do it, because it has been a blast, and I have had the chance to meet some really incredible people along the way.
This won't be my last photo, if anything it's only the beginning...

SO many socks, so little.......feet???? :-) Here is a sample of my sock collection. I believe we got all of these at the wonderful SockDreams.com. I was a little bored today, obviously. I didn't know what socks to wear, I wore them all in shots before....so I went with some of my faves. I knew today was gonna be a fun day in the Flickr Roulette Group. Sock On. (Doh!.....that was lame)
By the way, even though this isn't all my socks....if you want to see what a REAL sock collection looks like, you gotta go see the Queen, RockStarMommy....soon to be changed to Sock Star Mommy. LOL!!!!!!

It has been the best of days and the worst of days for Parsley. We had to go to the v-e-t for a checkup. The v-e-t could not believe his eyes when he saw Parsley! Indeed, Parsley now weighs more than he has ever weighed since I adopted him! The v-e-t spent ages just talking to me about Parsley and what I was doing to help him put on weight, and he said that his improvement is due to the good care I've taken of him, which made me feel very pleased as it has been stressful at times! The bad side of the visit was that he suggested that Parsley have blood and urine tests, and he took Parsley off into the back. I sat in the consultation room and waited for him, and I could hear a little cat meowing quite loudly and I am pretty sure it was Parsley. It can't be nice for him but it is for his own good, and probably better that I wasn't there to see it or I'd have been upset. When Parsley came back he relieved himself all over the v-e-t's table and I was stupidly quite embarrassed, but the v-e-t said he didn't care because it was worth it to see how healthy he was looking. Parsley is now home, has had his cuddle, and seems to have forgotten all about it.
If I lie down and suck in, you can't see that I gained about 1200 pounds over the holidays! I think will stay like this for a bit.

Happy Canada Day!
I spent Canada Day watching the sun rise over Moraine Lake, which in classic Canadian fashion, is still producing snow in July! In the middle of the lake there is an escaped canoe. I spent a good hour watching it travel an autonomous journey all over the lake.
