Laundry Day urbex
A house that got abandoned after a fire . The owner is living with her grandson right now. He sometimes comes there to check and maintain the garden and feed some stray cats
irene gave way to the most beautiful day today.
but she did leave some us with some seriously cold water.
Another shot from the Lam Pao reservoir......Shot in not the most conventional way, unless you call handheld from rickety old Thai canoe.I thought the title for this image " Days gone by" was quite fitting......seeing as though we were passing an old fishing raft in a moving canoe, whilst the day was coming to an end.
EXPLORE: January 10, 2013
It is windy and cold outside. It seems like a perfect day to think about warmer places and better times. Last winter in Arizona was certainly both. The hummingbirds came around on a regular basis to entertain us. On occasion the camera would be handy and a photo memory was created. These little guys are always a joy to be around. Spring seems like such a long way down the road.

"Catching Fire"
Don't play with fire because no matter how great it can be, you always get burned.

It is raining which we need for out spring flowers, so I sit here at the computer day dreaming about SPRING!!
I've been taking film all the time, so I forgot to count the days. I passed day 200 without even knowing :(
*Afternoon Snack for teacher*
I may have been a little premature thinking that my day was going to be smooth sailing, because it wasn't. My last class of eighth graders were less than pleasant. I really did not like them. They drive me to drink. ;-) And I don't give a crap if I get into Explore anymore! ahahahahahaha They have sucked my will to live. Heh.
And I get to do the same thing all over again on Thursday.
Cheers.
Not much to say about this shot, just that it involved tying the tripod to some stairs and hoping the shot would turn out ok :P
Have a happy and scary halloween!
Until dawn light comes
"..stay in my arms
close your eyes and hold your breath
until dawn light comes
the dawn light comes.."
The return from Boston made me feel k.o. I miss it..
It took me a few days to rearrange some ideas and rearrange some things..
Now I think about the places that I didn't visit but I would have liked..
Strange feelings.
I have had this song in my head for all day.. (sorry, I didn't find a good video)

a mood
I know I just took a picture of my clovers.
but yesterday was a day when I couldn't get out of my head, and as I sat with my camera, and there was a misty rain, these came into view, and that is how the story ended.
I didn't miss photography the past six days, but this was fun. My remote is dying so lately all my pictures are taken with self-timer and manual focus, which is a nightmare.
#1 - film - so i'm driving to my photography workshop at the moment, but I wanted to try to upload from my phone. Yaaaay it worked! I had to edit this photo on my phone, so I'm sorry this sorta sucks. But I didn't wanna miss a day, and I really love this photo for what it is.
كلامي واستحيت إني أقول ورحت ما قلته
على كثر الذي شفته غلاكم ما نزل للحين
أنا من يملك عيوني ترا ما يومها خذلته
OMG !! 19-11
it's " 3boody " Birth Day @_@

"Grass Picking"
“True friends are the ones who stays in your heart, even if you step on their ground.. Even after years apart, you pick up with them right where you left off, and like a grass in the wild… they will die but they'll keep existing in your heart.”

We had the good fortune to get to experience the best of two seasons on our recent trip out to Wyoming. Autumn's color was still visible and winter was making her presence known, as well. This was a typical early morning scene as we drove through the mountains... the fog would slowly clear and behind it, the pines would be covered in snow from overnight while the aspens were still shining in their gold and yellow splendor.
So thankful for the marvel and wonder of it all...
For my 30 days of gratitude project.

Aardvarks And Artichokes
I think I got the coat at a store called Aardvarks.
For We're Here: Aardvarks And Artichokes
1/100
And so it begins. I've decided that in order for me to feel happy, I need to be photographing everyday. I'm starting a 100 day project, but this project will be a lot more carefree compared to my 365. More or less documenting the next few months before I turn 16.
To keep up with this project, like my facebook page! I'll be uploading there, instead of flickr!

Happy Friday everyone. Playing along with the Flickr Roulette group today. It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood, sunny but not warm. Still waiting for all that rain they keep talking about. Eek, am I talking about the weather? How quaint and ordinary ;-) Have a great weekend.
SOOC
It rained all day today, and I was thinking of cheating. I was going to upload something I took a few days ago but I don't want to cheat. I think I'll regret it later, so this is all I have to offer today.
Day 27 of my photo-a-day challenge, this shot is a 3-shot HDR, I wanted to make sure I captured the drama in the sky.

Remembering the Fallen, Caring for Those Left Behind. Freedom is not Free.
Image from Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis MN.
"Memorial Day is a United States federal holiday that is observed on the last Monday of May (observed this year on 2007-05-28). It was formerly known as Decoration Day. This holiday commemorates U.S. men and women who have died in military service to their country. It began first to honor Union soldiers who died during the American Civil War. After World War I, it expanded to include those who died in any war or military action. One of the longest standing traditions is the running of the Indianapolis 500, which has been held in conjunction with Memorial Day since 1911."
