Je profite de ce challenge sur Flickr pour vous alerter : faites très attention à l'endroit où vous posez votre boule de cristal ! Je n'ai pas réfléchi et j'ai voulu la poser sur mon siège de jardin ( histoire d'avoir une composition , vous voyez sur ma terrasse ...) ; le temps que je me recule , à peine 3 sec , fumée ... le siège a brulé ! J'aurai pu m'en douter mais je n'ai pas réfléchi un seul instant ... Donc faites attention quand même :blush:
I take advantage of this challenge on Flickr to alert you: pay close attention to where you put your crystal ball! I did not think and I wanted to put it on my garden seat (just to have a composition, you see on my terrace ...); the time I go back, barely 3 sec, smoke ... the seat burned! I could have known but I did not think for a moment ... So be careful :blush:
took this yesterday and i kinda liked it too. was attempting some long exposure shots with some nd filters i recently purchased. turns out i didn't do proper research! i should have gotten higher value filters. anywho.. i kinda liked how this one came out... :) even though the ball is looking like it is just floating there.. it was actually resting on the rock. and there is some odd halo on the rock behind. what causes that? anyone know?
my actual photo for today is nothing too exciting. between a doggie eyeball or some lettuce. have to have a look and see what i can actually work with.

So here you can see my Christmas present. As you can see I need to get some more experience with it. Night shots are much easier to do with the crystal ball than daytime shots because of all those reflections.

Yet another Rhiannon by Fleetwood Mac inspired photo.

This idea popped into my head late at night before I fell asleep.. when I get my strangest ideas.
Originally wanted only the lips showing, so I modeled because you couldn't see the face anyway, but I thought this one was alright. I think I shall have my friend model the rest.

It's not really visible on Flickr, but I texturized the photo to give it a more antique feel.
