This is a reworking of an earlier shot. One of my favourites of the Pelicans. The light was amazing.

Cruising the lake Peten Itza at Isla de Flores in Guatemala. Isla de Flores was our base for the tour to the famous "El Tikal." Sunsets at and around the island were nothing short of spectacular.

A roseate spoonbill cruises by on way to nest from feeding ground.

A re-issue of an old photo. I changed the aspect ratio and did some color and noise work. This is a cruise ship docked at Ogden Pointe in Victoria, BC.

This is blended from five exposures. You can see that toward the center right where the same bird is seen five times and at the top where the same bird is seen three times before flying out of frame.

The Danube Cruise proved to be one of the most scenic river trips my wife and I have done. Despite being stormy day, images such as this panorama, still manage to capture the beauty of the river and the surrounding valleys dotted with quaint towns, villages and castles. The historic town of Wachau is visible towards the left of this image. For history buffs, King Richard the Lionhearted was captured and held for ransom in Wachau upon his return to England from the Crusades.

Another shot of a small ship in the Bay of Kotor

Azura ,Condor Rapide & Caribbean Princess. One of the hardest shots today trying to get the two ships together with the right light.

This was taken in 2008 and I posted a similar version back then with the boat heading the other way. I did a re-do for posting on my Fine Art America site: fineartamerica.com/featured/cruising-the-bay-mimi-ditchie... With the new Nik HDR software, I was able to get rid of the ghosting of the moving boat.

An early start to the day to catch this boat cruising across the horizon at dawn.

While staying at the Countryside RV Resort in Apache Junction, Arizona, we drove up SR88 to the Canyon Lake Marina & Campground where we went on a 90 minute cruise on the Dolly Steamboat, a replica of a classic American sternwheeler.

The cruise took us along a secluded inner waterway, accessible only by boat, during which the captain shared some history of the Apache Trail and Canyon Lake, the flora and fauna of the lower Sonoran Desert, and the legend and lore of the Superstition Mountains and the Lost Dutchman's Gold.

It was both delightful and beautiful. (15-03-07-2363-64)

Taken at the last Cruise Night of 2011, this magnificent old Classic certainly added some Class to the occasion!

I think you touched when you hear the song here !

Cruise ships from all over the world have visited Aalborg in Denmark in recent years.

There have been more and more, even so many ships waiting for docking.

From facebook I already knew that 2 pcs. Should depart and arrive at the same time,

So I had plenty of time to plan the photography.

I decided to go to the usual place, the 11th floor in the high house at the bridge.

The high house is locked area, but I stood for a short while outside the building, so I could see that the elevator was activated and a young dog with a little dog opened the door.

I slipped in the door before it closed and took the elevator up to the 11th floor.

All the apartments have an open balcony, and I used that.

I made the Sigma DP1 camera ready: tripod, reversing aperture, aperture 8 and self-timer

A cruise ship was already on the dock, with all preparations for departure at. 1300

I stood constantly and searched for Cruise Ship No. 2. Nobody could see.

In 1245 I caught sight of the ship, which infinitely slowly sailed towards the harbor.

I was very afraid that it did not reach the port before the other sailed.

It was all about photographing both ships at the same time.

Both ferries sent a loud sound from their horns, one sound slightly higher than the other.

Finally, for a long time, it sailed very slowly into the harbor, and I took 21 pictures.

I took some Samsung Galaxy S8 + videos.

The ships sailed so slowly that you could hardly see motion on the video.

While visiting Ho Chi Minh, my wife talked me into going on a nice river boat cruise. There was live music, singing, dancing and a 3 course meal. Happy I went... happier I brought my camera and snapped this awesome photo! Follow Me Here.
