I went down to the crossroad

I tried to flag a ride
Didn't nobody seem to know me
everybody passed me by
Standin at the crossroad

THE LIFE OF MAN
The life of man, and like a road
that runs straight horizon.
Downhill slopes, deserts and gardens
and you alone walk.
Man's life is like a road
launched on the years as a bridge.
But sooner or later, it's receiving a crossroads
and you do not know where to go.
Of quà the beautiful road that will lead,
a glorious nullity,
effortless, remorse or curiosity.
But there is no other way,
that closer if neither he goes.
If you are a man, the road is only one
and the one that climbs on the mountain.
No one will help, no one helps you
alone you wipe his brow.
More suffer more salts,
more salts and seems far away
the top of the mountain.
And when you arrive, you sit and smile
you have the soul for horizon ...

This lone farmhouse sits in an incongruous field at the foot of the hill topped by the 'Hohensalzburg Fortress' just outside the very center of Salzburg. Anyone who knows the story of how this little idyllic patch of green has been spared please let me know!! (Google Maps: Hans-Sedlmayr-Weg and Almgasse)

Sometimes in life, we will be at a crossroad not knowing which path to choose. The only path that is right for you is the one your heart tells you to follow. It is your path and yours alone. Others may walk it with you but no one can walk it for you.

The christian crossroad near by my home. 18 Stations of the Cross, 10 quadrangular kilometers, with 2 chapels.
Built 1660 by the Princebishop Bernhard van Galen, aka 'cannon-Bernd' due to his martial life.
Due to some questions:
RAW converted with Pentax photo-browser. (sometimes a better result in conversion than with PS) Contrast, reds, yellows slightly enhanced with PS. Unsharp masked, deleted some purple fringing with 'replace colour'.
Standing at the crossroads now
And we can't back down
'Cause there's nothing left worth saving there
We need to close that door
We've been in it before
No, there's nothing left worth saving there
In life we come across crossroads that can alter the course of our lives. I've recently embarked on one. As I look forward to the new course my life will take one can't help but wonder, What if I took the other path? I am 100% happy with my decision for I have chosen to follow my dream. It a surreal feeling knowing that I will LITERALLY be living out my dream. And I'm so ready for it.
“You are now at a crossroads. This is your opportunity to make the most important decision you will ever make. Forget your past. Who are you now? Who have you decided you really are now? Don't think about who you have been. Who are you now? Who have you decided to become? Make this decision consciously. Make it carefully. Make it powerfully.”- Anthony Robbins
