March ~ Creative Outlet celebrates Mardi Gras ~
Young Artists at Work were invited to construct paper and to draw and paint spring pictures with purple, green and yellow tempera and oil pastel.
FMC put on an interview and panel (in the middle of a monsoon) at Busboys and Poets to celebrate the release of our book, Creative License.
One the panel were co-author Peter DiCola, Deputy Director Casey Rae-Hunter, DJ/Producer Roddy Rod and DJ 2-Tone Jones.

There's enough room for me to spread out and do my thing ... Modern isn't the cold interiors that many interpret as being unlivable, let go of the clutter and open your mind to a world of amazing detailing ... This is where you really come to understand the impact of not just good design but amazing design ... How our environments mold our lives in subtle ways that may not be clear to us ... There's a reason you walk into a space and feel refreshed or excited or maybe even a little curious to see what lies ahead ...
Here are my tips for creating a productive workspace:
Comfortable seating and having different zones are super important for home offices. No one likes to be sat at the desk all day, so have a separate nook where you can take calls, read through something, or just take five minutes.
Decorate your bookshelves. Find inspiration for your own shelves and bookcases in my Creative Workspace.
Keep your office space tidy: shut away clutter, and try to keep cables and wires to a minimum.

Added some beads and buttons to this bag that Heather made me! 2013 went by so quickly and there were many fun creative times which all enforced the fact that I love art and I love felt making and I really like to do it with my friends, family, and class participants....being together and being creative is all part of the fun!

Leading representatives from the creative industries on 3rd September 2014 gathered at the ‘Creative Manchester’ event to champion, celebrate and grow the reputation of the City’s creativity.
