well as the title says, its my entry for the Second Life Cracked photo contest . I dont think I ever had such a banging pain doing a picture before and I spent the last hours working on it. I'm still not satisfied with it but time's running and i need to enter it now i think.
I hope you like it.

Last night we were able to witness a partial solar eclipse at midnight. It was supposed to be pretty special and all, but to be honest it didnt get my heart pumping any more than any given night with the midnight sun. That said, i had a great time and really enjoyed myself. Took some documentary shots of the eclipse with a longer lens, but it was after the eclipse i really had some great shooting. This one is shot an hour after midnight, and is a remake of a composition i did last year. The light was superb and i took a bunch of shots, but i felt that something was missing. So i waited until the tide came washing into the crack...patience paid off in the end...
The crack you see is really i tiny one. It`s about 20cm wide and a couple of meters long. I had to squeeze myself into this narrow spot to get this compo.
Hope you like it...and feedback is appreciated...

Another old habit of mine: getting up very early in the morning to catch the first light of the day. For me it's just a perfect start of a day to take a walk in the morning, breathing the fresh air, listening to the birds and watching the sun rise.
This is not a HDR image, as you might suppose. I blended this manually from 3 different exposures.

Ci sono eventi che creano un'indubbia frattura tra un prima e un dopo.

There are events creating a certain fracture between the before and after.
A Cracking sunrise on Sunday in more ways than one..
Whilst traveling to Zouch for sunrise a tog friend and I decided on a quick stop on the way at Sawley...this turned out to be a unfortunate decision...whilst on the way back to the car I slipped on ice and landed very heavily on my elbow...I was in extreme pain but decided on keeping on going to our chosen location...although I was happy to capture a beautiful sunrise I later learned I had carried on photographing with a fractured elbow.. lol..I'm not safe to go out with a camera...

The wall.
It blocks you.
But even it seems to be insurmountable,
There is always somewhere a crack.

As cool as the bubbles are on Abraham Lake, I loved the cracks where you could see how deep or thick the ice was. It was almost 3d.

This busy ‘Little Men Team’, however, tries all to repair it. Do you think they will be successful? Anyway, please give them a Big Smile on Saturday!:)

Just one of the fantastic structures that sits on the Bristly Ridge... It wasn't just the rocks that were cracked, our backs and knees were too
