Cow close-up portrait in Dartmoor National Park. This Highland breed is a favourite with visitors to the park with their fluffy, long-haired coats. Generally very docile, they look quite fearsome with their long curved horns.
I've seen a lot of cows in France... maybe more cows than people...

These two curious cows watched me set up to shoot round top mountain from Jack's Cabin Rd. in Crested Butte, CO along the boundary of Screaming Judy SWA. The old fence posts were really leaning and I wondered if they were planning an escape.

I was waiting for those sharp eyed, clever ones who know their T-Bone steaks, well done guys you looked closely, you are not easy fuddle duddled :)
Boys ..that's why they are so boisteres when a woman passes by or sitting with them, the chatter started. they became so compfy with me, talking to them too, they talked back, they laid down. must have be my charm or maybe a bit of Coco Chanel :)
In October 2013 I bought my first L lens (used) for a reasonable price. It is a 20-35 L f/2.8 Lens. The main reason was that I had only two lenses in my collection. The modified Macro lens and the 50mm. I missed some wider Lens and it must be a L lens. This choice was affordable for me and must do the job!
This shot was taken on the way home from “Ootmarsum” to my hometown “Enschede”.
I could not resist to stop to take this shot!
