Cristalina é um município brasileiro do estado de Goiás. O município integra à Região Integrada de Desenvolvimento do Distrito Federal e Entorno (RIDE). Sua população é de 48,463 habitantes, segundo Estimativa Populacional 2012 divulgada pelo IBGE/2011.7 Em dez anos (2000 a 2010) sua população teve um crescimento de 36,5%, sendo um dos municípios que mais crescem em Goiás. A cidade localiza-se a Leste da Capital do Estado, distando desta cerca de 288 km e ao Sul da Capital do Brasil, distante dela 131 km. O município possui altitudes de até 1.250 metros, sendo que, sua sede está a 1.189 metros de altitude em relação ao nível do mar. A frota do município era de 19.316 veículos em 2010. A zona urbana é cortada pela BR 040 e BR 050, duas das principais rodovias do país, interligando a cidade a todas as regiões brasileiras.
