Just a little thank you to my amazing DH, and a good friend of mine ...as well as Rick, from our local camera shop, for outfitting me with some things that can make holding a camera and taking pictures almost like it used to be! This is really my passion, and it's so nice to be able to spend some time this weekend doing that again! xoxoxoxox
So anyway...here's Annie. Probably one of a very few blythes I will never ever sell.
Her outfit is a hand me down... I think it's a rement set. I love it in all it's mis-matchiness!
"There's nothing like a mass of bloomin' Zinnias to give you that country fresh feeling,
one that lasts from early summer into late fall....ahhh! Don'tcha know when German
botanist Johann Gottfried ZINN 1st described these cute Mexican Wildflowers he had
no inkling that they would become so popular and evolve into over 20 varieties from
tall to dwarf....quilted, twisted, and the ever popular double? Oh....and how I love 'em
all....just like so many of My Friends do! Aren't they absolutely wonderful?" :)

"Consider how the wildflowers grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not
even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God
clothes the grass of the field which is here today, and tomorrow is thrown into the
fire, how much more will He clothe you....you of little faith!"
~Luke 12:27-28

Ok, It's not West Virginia...........
Almost heaven, west virginia
Blue ridge mountains, shenandoah river
Life is old there, older than the trees
Younger than the mountains, blowing like a breeze
Country roads, take me home
To the place, I be-long
West virginia, mountain momma
Take me home, country roads
All my memries, gather round her
Miners lady, stranger to blue water
Dark and dusty, painted on the sky
Misty taste of moonshine, teardrop in my eye
Country roads, take me home
To the place, I be-long
West virginia, mountain momma
Take me home, country roads
I hear her voice, in the mornin hours she calls to me
The radio reminds me of my home far a-way
And drivin down the road I get a feeling
That I should have been home yesterday, yesterday
Country roads, take me home
To the place, I be-long
West virginia, mountain momma
Take me home, country roads

Margam Country Park is a country park estate in Wales, of around 850 acres (3.4 km²). It is situated in Margam, about 2 miles (3 km) from Port Talbot in south Wales. It was once owned by the Mansel Talbot family and is now owned and administered by the local council, Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council. Situated within the park are three notable buildings: Margam Abbey, a Cistercian monastery; Margam Castle, a neo-Gothic country house that was once the seat of the Mansel Talbot family; and the 18th-century Orangery.
Was out bird hunting one evening when I turned onto this dirt road and saw how the trees almost completely covered the road and the sun was setting, splattering the trees in golds and reds.

Country roads ~ Colorado style! Spent a few days in the high country. Perfect days, cold nights, clear skies! Aspen beginning to turn.
