Another autumn shot (my favorite image hunting season) of a ranch road leading towards the distant Lemhi mountains of Idaho.
Loved the wide open spaces of this region.
Hope your week is off to a great start.
Thanks for your visit.

i am definately going for a road trip when i'm home later in the year.
this is from when nathan and i went for a drive a few years ago- so much fun.

I was raised on country sunshine
green grass beneath my feet
Runnin' through fields of daisies
a wadin' through the creek.
You love me and it's invitin'
to go where life is more excitin'
But I was raised on country sunshine.
I was raised on country sunshine
I'm happy with the simple things
A Saturday night dance, a picture show
and the joy that the bluebird brings.
I love you please believe me
I wouldn't want you to ever leave me
But I was raised on country sunshine.

A little trip out of town this morning and its clear to say winter is here, very little foliage left and very cold.
In the Smoky Hills. I-70 West of Salina, KS, USA on the South side of the road close to Ellsworth. Some people call this country Barren. My soul takes a deep breath, and sighs.
HFF.
I hear her voice, in the mornin' hour she calls me,
The radio reminds me of my home far away
And drivin' down the road I get a feelin' that
I should have been home yesterday, yesterday..

This is the Peyock school up in the thumb. I had been looking for it and just drove right up on it! Lucky me, haha!
I have been working on a Country Cottage for my hubby and me for a little while. Changing things here and there until I'm happy with it.
This is the bedroom, which im settled on now. Yeah it's pink, but who cares :D
pre-lensbaby country photo safari. you may see this barn again in the future...with blur, and on film.
yep, film. nikon f100 on the way.
Trees and various Grasses make up this beautiful Country scene near Paull Village in East Yorkshire,
Somewhere west of Channahon. I was on this little country road and making my way around this huge curve and on the other side of the curve, this red barn popped out and screamed, 'Take my photo, take my photo!!!'
So I did.
Such a peaceful and relaxing country drive it was except for the scream of the barn....lol :-)
