* Comments I prefer to awards. Invitations are very nice and appreciated too(!), but in the end it's your words that mean more to me.*
From the windows of this lovely building (now under threat of demolition!) you can see the stunning red brick and terracotta-tiled Palace Hotel, once the home of Refuge Assurance.

In Ghent there are plenty of these charming, cozy and beautiful places, streetlets, houses, cafés and more. Just walk, walk and breathe the air of Ghent! You normally fall immediately in love with this city! It feels truly medieval in its architecture and has a stunning skyline with spires at every level. It somehow feels both cozy and lively at the same time.

"In the final scene of Jacques Tati’s Playtime, a roundabout is transformed into a moving carousel. Inspired by this scene, artist Naomi Kashiwagi has collaborated with choreographer Benji Reid to devise a new performance that will transform the junction outside Cornerhouse into a merry-go-round, as knowing and unaware participants perform choreographed movements to Francis Lemarque’s song ‘L’Opéra des Jours Heureux’."

1. Cornerhouse Yellow, 2. Cornerhouse Blue, 3. Cornerhouse Pink
Yeah for some reason I created the pink in landscape rather than portrait format, so it looks weird. I might try and fix it one day.

The lights that adorn Cinema 1 of the Cornerhouse and its signage is one thing I'll miss when it moves in 2015.
I have heard that this cinema might be knocked down some time after First Street opens, so it might be worth a visit.
