One of the first shots from my visit to New York last week. I haven't had as much time as I would have liked to go through all the photos and I also didn't get to go to all the locations I wanted. I think I might have captured a few that I like though.
This is a shot of Times Square from 42nd St. Until you visit you just don't realise how bright this place is with all the advertising and lights. Amazing place to go on a night out and if I only had more time then I am sure I could have got more photos.
This shot is created from 5 bracketed exposures using Photomatix Pro and Nik Color Efex.
One of the few shots I took recently with my new Canon EF-S 10-22mm f3.5-4.5 USM lens. A great ultra wide angle zoom lens with (from what I can see) great image quality. Sure it's not as good as the L series wide angle lenses from canon but it suits my 7d perfectly since I need to go wider due to the crop factor from the APS-C sensor. View On White

Los Christianos Tenerife. The view from the top floor of our hotel Princessa Dacil. There was not sun on our balcony and that was disappointing but the view was amazing. It was panoramic.

I took this shot a while ago whilst in London with Liesel and flickr buddy Dan Borg. Originally I posted this shot in colour, as my initial mono attempts weren't as smooth as I would have liked. A fairly lengthy rework and I'm happy with the end result.
Thanks for looking and have a great Thursday!
One World Trade Center is a statement of hope and defiance written in steel and glass, a marvel of persistence, and a miracle of logistics. ~ Josh Sanburn
Built in 1909, Jamek Mosque is one of the oldest mosques in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is located at the confluence of the Klang and Gombak River and was designed by Arthur Benison Hubback.
The Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sir Alaeddin Sulaiman Shah officially opened the mosque in 1909, two years after construction was completed. The mosque was built on the first Malay burial ground in the city. Before the national mosque, Masjid Negara, was opened in 1965, Masjid Jamek served as Kuala Lumpur's main mosque. The architect was Arthur Benison Hubback.
The mosque has a Moorish, Indo-Saracenic or Mughal architecture. Across the Gombak River stands the Sultan Abdul Samad Building, a building that was designed by the same architect and shares a similar style.
Nearby is the Masjid Jamek LRT station that is served by the Kelana Jaya Line, Sri Petaling Line and Ampang Line. The station is located between Chinatown and Little India; Dataran Merdeka is also nearby.
Worlds most densely populated capital.

The CN Tower (French: Tour CN) is a 553.33 m-high (1,815.4 ft) concrete communications and observation tower in Downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Built on the former Railway Lands, it was completed in 1976, becoming the world's tallest free-standing structure and world's tallest tower at the time. It held both records for 34 years until the completion of Burj Khalifa and Canton Tower in 2010. It remains the tallest free-standing structure in the Western Hemisphere, a signature icon of Toronto's skyline, and a symbol of Canada, attracting more than two million international visitors annually.
Today evening was cloudy and hot. We went to the 9th Floor terrace assuming there will be mild breeze there to cool us. But we were greeted with this view, and i clicked some shots fo the sub city skyline from there.
This is a shot of the subway station exit at City Hall, New York, USA.
I didn't get to spend as much time as I wanted in the subway to take photographs and this one of the rare snaps I got. Particularly difficult without a tripod as it was very dark and dingy.
Processed and edited in Nik HDR Efex Pro and Color Efex Pro.

Shot at night with nothing but moonlight. Down Town LA skyline to the far right.. Taken while hiking through the Hellman Trail located in Whittier, CA.
This was taken a while back when I had only a kit lens. Oh well.

This was shot using a friend's friend's Canon (Big thanks to him). Mine was rendered useless from condensation due excessive AC at the hotel room. Forming or joining a group is key to locations like this here in the photo community in Shanghai. We had some low attitude fast moving clouds and relatively high visibility that day. The humidity level is almost at 100%
