While waiting for my Sony A7s completed taking the time-lapse, me and my old friend Canon 6D walking around the Sky Gym to find things to shoot. At this time its almost sunset, as you can see the yellow glow of the sun at the Hotel Maya. Almost golden hour I presume.

Snapped this shot using 9 exposure with Magic Lantern without any tripod, our local call it 'sikupod'. Just put my elbow on the railing and press the shutter. Make sure hold your breath as inhale and exhale can contribute to camera shake.

Processed in Photomatix and final touch in Adobe Photoshop CC 2015. Enjoy.

Long exposure taken from Centre Island near the pier off Toronto. A great boat ride which I recommend for anyone going to Toronto. Other shots taken from that night can be seen on my photostream. I have been here in Canada for University for 2 years now and this is the first time I'm photographing the Toronto skyline. Not the most flattering sky that night but I will be sure to do this again sometime. Also slightly upset that I didnt have the best lens for the job that night. Again, please View Large On Black. It looks really great!

This is a digital work but I placed the circles one by one on a

black background. This is really a time consuming technique...

I have always loved Bob Marley. I've made several portraits

of him in the past, Jah bless!

According to Emporis, there are 7,650 skyscrapers in Hong Kong, putting the city at the top of world rankings. The high density and tall skyline of Hong Kong's urban area is due to a lack of available sprawl space, with the average distance from the harbour front to the steep hills of Hong Kong Island at 1.3 km (0.8 mi), much of it reclaimed land.

This lack of space causing demand for dense, high-rise offices and housing, has resulted in 36 of the world's 100 tallest residential buildings being in Hong Kong, and more people living or working above the 14th floor than anywhere else on Earth, making it the world's most vertical city.

Three exposures tonemapped in Photomatix Pro. Taken from Mid-Levels through apartment window. A rare clear day and warm, golden, late-afternoon light. This one was sitting in my archives almost forgotten.

Looking up at Chicago's skyscrapers in financial district, IL, USA

good under the bridge, downtown queens, grit.

The next one from my trip to New York. I noticed this abandoned waste storage area and thought it might make an interesting shot with the skyscrapers in the background. I also felt this type of shot was perfect for a slightly more over the top HDR effect which I have done here. I didn't quite over do it as they always look terrible. I hope I managed to get the balance right for this shot.

"Spring is when you feel like whistling even with a shoe full of slush." - Doug Larson

-----

The signs of spring are starting to surround us, but I'm not yet an optimist that the warmer temperatures are here to stay. I've fallen prey to Mother Nature's trickery many times before.

I will enjoy the warmth, and relish in the sounds of water flowing as the snow starts to melt, but I won't be convinced that we've seen the last of old man winter, at least not for a few more weeks.

You might call me a pessimist, but I like to think of myself as a realist.

Hope everyone has had a good day.

Midtown Manhattan all lit up on a December evening.

Way out of my comfort zone in an (open door) helicopter hovering over Manhattan. At this part of the trip we were doing a turn towards Times Square and it literally feels like you are going to fall out and land on top of one of those high rise buildings - hence I just closed my eyes and clicked away without looking, so many of the shots weren't all that good. Once we had straightened up I was able to open my eyes again and enjoy an absolutely amazing experience.
