I had these three wild ones in my studio, LOL

Oh, the fun we have!

You have to get them just at the right moment, otherwise they can become temperamental and 'soft-petalled' LOL

The common thread is that the flower always denotes luxury and indulgence.

I again tried to photograph them with lots of charm and detail!

Have a super day and thank you, M, (*_*)

Saw this bouquet of tulips, of the double and bi-toned variety.

So rich, so vibrant in warm tones.

Hope this makes you smile again, have a great day and thank you for your visit, so very much appreciated, Magda, (*_*)

The Baroque is often thought of as a period of artistic style that used motion and clear, easily interpreted detail to produce drama, tension, exuberance, and grandeur in sculpture, painting, architecture, literature, dance, theatre, and music.

The style began around 1600 in Rome, Italy, and spread to most of Europe.

The word "Baroque", like most periodic or stylistic designations, was invented by later critics rather than practitioners of the arts in the 17th and early 18th centuries. It is a French transliteration of the Portuguese phrase "pérola barroca", which means "irregular pearl", and natural pearls that deviate from the usual, regular forms so they do not have an axis of rotation are known as "baroque pearls".

Baroque style featured "exaggerated lighting, intense emotions, release from restraint, and even a kind of artistic sensationalism".

With love to you and thank you for ALL your faves and comments, M, (* _ *)

Lily of the Valley,

French: muguet, lis des vallées

Dutch: Lelietjes van Dalen

Flemish: meiklokjes

... an erect low-growing perennial herb of the genus Convallaria (C. majalis) that has two large oblong lanceolate leaves and a raceme of fragrant nodding bell-shaped white flowers.

I England it is not celebrated like it is on the continent, but I keep the traditions that I grew up with alive, LOL.

In the studio... where I photographed them for you and me, to enjoy.

Thank you and have a lovely day, M, (*_*)

For Easter...

More of my 'creative' images, while I had everything out... I always experience that one idea brings on another and then I am feverishly working away, time flies and nothing goes fast enough... my actions can't follow my brain lol, it's not easy being a 'creative', nor to live with one... day crosses into night, I forget to eat or drink, I'm in my own world.

Hope you like it as much as I do, thanx for your time, M, (*_*)

To brighten your day.

Zinnia is a genus of plants of the sunflower tribe within the daisy family.

They are native to scrub and dry grassland in an area stretching from the Southwestern United States to South America, with a centre of diversity in Mexico. Members of the genus are notable for their solitary long-stemmed flowers that come in a variety of bright colours.

The genus name honours German botanist Johann Gottfried Zinn (1727–59)

There’s not a more vibrant late-summer plant, with a brilliant range of colours and flowers that look as though they’ve been cut from velvet-coated cardboard.

Thanx for your visits and comments, M, (*_*)

To me it looks like this tulip is taking a deep bow, in French, une révérence…

A bow for gents, curtsy for the ladies, with a flourish?

In english: reverence is an ancient virtue that barely survives and often exists in half forgotten forms of civility.

THANK you for ALL your comments and visits, so appreciated, M, (*_*)

This French soft-neck garlic is popular with chefs and will add an authentic flavour to your French dishes.

Garlic is a species in the onion genus, Allium.

Its close relatives include the onion, shallot, leek, chive, and Chinese onion.

Garlic is native to Central Asia and northeastern Iran, and has long been a common seasoning worldwide, with a history of several thousand years of human consumption and use.

for music lovers: FLEUR ROUGE...

A red Anemone, opening its heart to us and beckoning you tentatively.

I don't talk to flowers, they talk to me and I gladly listen! With my eyes.

These were opening up slowly, whispering of sadness, the dark stamens down, some petals glistening with tears...

Hope this brings a bit of joy again, have a good day and thank you for your visit, so very much appreciated, Magda, (*_*)
