De cuando llegamos a Coachella, no me gustan las cámaras digitales.

Is it art? Or, is it an attack from Mars?

So what is this? It's a large sculpture that was in the middle of a huge music festival called Coachella in the desert in Indio, CA. The artist is Michael Christian and he calls it... I.T.

This photo was used in Resident Advisor magazine, in an article about music festivals.

Also seen on CBC Radio 3's blog: as noted here:

A quick edit from Coachella last year. We got there Thursday when they were still setting up, before the crowds. It's amazing to see this place transform from a virtual ghost town to

approximately 85,000 people. Man, does time fly.

I'm so excited! Feeling Blessed that this year I get to photograph and enjoy Coachella and Stagecoach with some wonderful people.

Life is good :)

Red Hot Chili Peppers are headlining, so excited to see them live. Lumineers will be there too, along with La Roux.

Late night partying at Coachella. The funny thing is I mixed for hours from one computer. Actually, I wasn't mixing anything. I was just playing with all the cool dials on the mixer.

Just got back from romping around the Californian desert, shooting the parties and people of the Coachella Music Festival, Weekend 1. This shot is one of my favorites from last year's festival.

The crowd during a DJ set from MSTRKRFT at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, CA. 2007! I stuck my camera on a monopod and raised it up above the crowd as high as I could.

Update: I was interviewed by the cool kids over at www.festivalfriendly.com for this photo.

My contribution to #BratzAtCoachella and I kinda dig it. Serving coachella polaroid looks jajaja
