Discover a wealth of chic luxurious shopping, fine dining, and high adventure here at the Aria Resort & Casino.

But first you need to make dinner reservations at Jean Georges Steakhouse for you and your lovely lady. Unless you want to have dinner at the Jean Georges cocktail bar, don't wait until it's too late to get a nice cozy table for two away from the crowd.

Don't forget that the first showing of Viva Elvis is at 7pm -- so make it an early dinner.

Don't let your lovely lady get carried off by ancient Romans, take her to Bobby Flay's MESA Grill for lunch instead.

The Harmon Hotel (blue buildin) was going to be a non-gaming boutique hotel originally set to be 49 stories, but it was cut to 25 stories after construction defects were discovered. On November 13, 2010 the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported that MGM Resorts International plans to demolish the Harmon Hotel due to its previously revealed defects, however the exact date of the demolition has been placed on hold due to ongoing litigation between MGM Resorts International and variously parties involved in the development of CityCenter.

If you and your very lovely lady loved 'Viva ELVIS' by Cirque du Soleil four years ago, then you'll love ZARKANA by Cirque du Soleil too!!

You and your very lovely lady need to get front row seats for tonight's showing of ZARKANA by Cirque Du Soleil! This is an excellent big stage production show and y'all don't want to get stuck way back in the cheap seats. So as soon as you and your woman get checked into your Aria or Vdara hotel suite, you'll want to head straight to the Zarkana box office on the convention center level to get your show tickets. Have dinner at the dark and cozy Jean Georges Steakhouse before your show.

You two will want to visit the nearby Gold Boutique Lounge & Nightclub after the show. Y'all will do this because this is Las Vegas and you want to sip champagne and dance Cha-Cha with your woman.

Can You Dig It!

A look at the demolition of The Harmon Tower at CityCenter Las Vegas..

Don't come here if you're afraid of soaring heights -- because this 60 story mega-resort towers high above all the other hotels on the cental Strip and your ears will pop every time you ride the elevator up to your suite.

The Harmon Hotel is a 28-floor luxury hotel and condo project. The opening date for the Harmon Hotel has not been determined -- if ever... So in the meantime, why don't you just go and get a really nice corner suite at the nearby Aria Resort & Casino.

As you're leaving the luxurious buffet at the Wicked Spoon, stop and take some time to explore the wonderful wealth of fine sculpture works throughout the Cosmopolitan Hotel main promenade.

Fighting myself through the city jungle of Las Vegas with my camera and my tripod, surrounded by thousands of people was quite some good exercise, due it was still over 35° Celsius at night times.

Here is one of my experimental shots I made of the Las Vegas City Lights.

If you hurry right now, you just might make it to Barry Manilow's 7:30 show at The Paris Hotel & Casino.

Your very lovely lady will be very impressed with your sense of High Adventure and Hot Action when you bring her here to the Deuce Lounge for swanky cocktails and primetime high stakes casino action -- especially if the gentleman sitting next to you at the Blackjack table happens to be Christopher Walken holding Court at The Deuce.

Be Bold! And don't be afraid to take a 'Hit' on 15 or 16 -- you'll never beat the Blackjack dealer playing it safe.

Since you and your lovely lady just happen to be headed to the excellent lunch buffet at the Aria Resort & Casino, why don't you pause and take some pretty pictures of your lovely lady before the Aria's wall of falling water.

By now you should know that the Aria Express CityCenter Tram is the most efficient way to travel between the South Strip and the Central Strip. So when it comes time for you and your lovely lady to get from Mandalay Bay to Caesars Palace for the Celine Dion Show, you will know what to do. Don't you think...

Very fine modern art abounds all about the Aria resort property. You can pay less money for a cheaper room elsewhere on the Vegas Strip, but you won't get the unqualified luxury and glamour of an Aria king bed Deluxe Room. So don't be cheap! Bring your lovely lady here for your Las Vegas Romp!!

And what High Adventure and Midnight Mischief have you and your very lovely lady planned for tonight!

If you are standing right here, then it means you are waiting for your Bell Trans airport shuttle to arrive and take you to McCarran International Airport. And although it does not mean your Las Vegas Vacation is officially over, it does mean that your luxurious stay at the luxurious Aria Resort & Casino and the fabulous Las Vegas Strip is at an end.

And if today is the beginning of your fabulous Las Vegas Vacation as opposed to it being the end of your Las Vegas Vacation -- then don't you think you should grab your luggage and go inside and get checked in. After all, the clock is ticking -- and you have a seven day Las Vegas Vacation to live. Life Is Good Here!

Can You Dig It!!

You can be sure that at the conclusion of a 12 hour overseas flight from London, Paris, or Berlin, your very lovely lady will be much happier that you were thoughtful enough to book a luxurious Corner Suite here at the Aria Resort & Casino rather than at some stuffy old hotel casino up on the far north Strip. Can You Dig It!

I may be getting a little foggy these days, but the Arena is real and will open April 2016!

City Center being built on the Las Vegas Strip

On your way to and from the excellent afternoon buffet at The Wicked Spoon, you may want to take some time to explore some Las Vegas Strip history through the hotel's vast collection of vintage photography. But watch out -- wherever Tempest Storm goes, Bettie Page won't be too far behind.

Pulled this one out of the archives from a walk around at the Crystals Las Vegas.

In this ritzy neighborhood there are two ways to 'Live Las Vegas.' You can 'Live Las Vegas' down there at one of Aria's four luxurious cabana pools, or you can 'Live Las Vegas' across Dean Martin Drive over there at the Martin Towers. Both places are excellent destinations for High Adventure, Hot Action, and Cool Romance, but you would do well to do the Aria first -- their pools are much larger!

By the way, the fourth cabana pool, hidden over there in the NW corner amidst the palm trees, is a smaller more private affair where bikini tops are optional.

Can You Dig It!!

After two years they finally moved The Rose to a more visible site at CityCenter.

You and your lovely lady need to dine here and explore the wonderful wide world of Spanish Tapas. This is how fashionable couples dine out in Spain. Beef, Pork, Chicken -- you two should try several of these small plates to discover which Tapas y'all like best. Ask your helpful bartender to recommend the proper wine to suit each dish. Or just ask for a tall pitcher of White or Red Sangria. Enjoy dinner and drinks, but don't be late for the 7pm showing of ZARKANA by Cirque Du Soleil headlining upstairs in the Zarkana theatre. After the show, take your lovely lady for drinks and dancing at the Gold Lounge.

City Center Harmen Hotel which may never open due to building flaws

If you can afford it, you need to book a Terrace Suite at the Cosmopolitan Hotel & Casino. You can always book an excellent King/Deluxe room at the Aria or at Vdara, but you won't get you own private sky terrace overlooking the Las Vegas Strip and Bellagio. And when you're done being awed by your breath-taking open air luxurious terrace, you will need to head down to the excellent buffet at the Wicked Spoon.

Don't you think your very lovely lady will be mighty impressed with your keen sense of High Adventure, Hot Action, Romance, and Hollywood Glamour if you were to surprise her this week and book a Corner Suite at the Aria, or a Terrace Suite at the Cosmopolitan -- Well, Don't You...

And when you two arrive at the CityCenter, don't even bother hauling your baggage up to your suite, leave that business to the bell boy, just take your woman and head directly to the SHe' Steak House in Crystals and make dinner reservations for two for later on tonight. Ask for a nice patio table if possible, but at least be sure to get a table close to the DJ and the roaming entertainment -- either way, use this opportunity tonight to celebrate the Good Fortune that brings y'all to the Las Vegas Strip and the CityCenter.

Don't forget to get front row seats for tonight's showing of PEEPSHOW headlining across the street at Planet Hollywood. This is CoCo's last summer staring in this excellent topless stage show, so you don't want to miss her show.

If you and your lovely lady are staying at the Mandarin Oriental in the CityCenter and you two have front row seats for tonight's showing of 'O' by Cirque Du Soleil headlining at the Bellagio Resort & Casino, then is there a more efficient and elegant means of getting from south to north better than the Aria Express -- I think not...

And don't forget that the Prime Steakhouse at the Bellagio stays open until 10pm, so you and your lovely lady should have plenty of time for late dinner after the 7:30pm show lets out.

HDR of the main casino floor. Pre-Opening.

Take some time on your way to-and-from the excellent buffet at The Wicked Spoon to explore the wonderful wealth of classic 50s and 60s swing dance and foxtrot romance LPs hidden away on display between Jaleo and the Blue Ribbon Sushi Bar & Grill on the 3rd floor. Be sure to also explore the large collection of retro Las Vegas Strip photographs on display throughout the Cosmopolitan Hotel 2nd floor Promenade.

Okay, you and your lovely lady just got off the Bell Trans airport shuttle from McCarran International Airport, so now don't you think it would be better to be efficient and send your woman off to the Caesars Palace box office to get tickets for tonight's Celine Dion Show in the Caesars Palace Colosseum while you go and stand in the hotel check-in line with all the luggage. What do you think about that plan?

Don't forget to make dinner reservations for later tonight at Bobby Flay's MESA Grill.

Don't let yourself get so over-awed by the luxurious wealth of sky-high glass all around you that you forget that the Las Vegas CityCenter is a magnet for some of the most renouned modern abstract artists in the world. So on your way to-and-from Bar Vdara, or the Aria Buffet, or Mandarin Oriental, you should take some time to go on Art Safari about this vast resort campus. What do you think...

This particular artist, Nancy Rubins, seems to have a taste for the abstract French Cubist works of Picasso, Duchamp, and Braque.

Your spectacular view from the 37th floor of the Aria Resort & Casino -- so don't come up here if you have a faint heart and you're afraid of lofty heights. The Aria Resort & Casino soars 60 ear-popping floors above the Las Vegas Strip.

Looking fondly back from the sunset of your sixth evening of your fabulous Las Vegas Strip Spring Break, don't you think your very lovely lady is so much more grateful you had the good sense of High Adventure and Cool Romance to have booked a Penthouse SkyVilla or Sky Suite at the blatantly luxurious Aria Resort & Casino. So -- now on the backside of your Vegas Fling, what Marvelous Mischief do you and your very lovely lady have planned for Date Night tonight? Life Is Good Here!

The Action at the Stratosphere Hotel & Casino is starting to heat up now that silky-slick Frankie Moreno, and the alluring PIN-UP stage production show, are getting settled in at the northern tip of the Vegas Strip. Claire Sinclair was the 2011 Playboy Playmate of the Year. There appears to be a 50's vintage and retro vibe going on up there at the Stratosphere. Don't you think now would be a good occasion for you and your lovely lady to venture north and check out this grand old Vegas Strip destination. Y'all should drop in at Roxy's Diner for some 1950's fun before the show.

Take a pretty picture of your very lovely lady before the palatial splendor and baroque majestry of Lake Bellagio and the Bellagio Resort & Casino. And after you're done taking pretty pictures of your lovely lady, take her to Olives for lunch, or to Picasso for early dinner.

Tell the restaurant hostess you and your lovely lady want a nice romantic table outside on the shady patio overlooking Lake Bellagio.

Go Ahead! Take a Hit on 16!!

You and your very lovely lady need to learn how to ride the monorails up and down the Strip! Didn't the people back home at the travel agency warn you two how Hot it gets in Las Vegas during the summer -- like as hot as 125 degrees in August and September! So learn to ride the monorails -- Can You Dig It!!

Take your lovely lady to the Eiffel Tower Restaurant or to Mon Ami Gabi for an elegant dinner adventure and then take your lovely lady to 'Jubilee!' at Ballys Hotel & Casino for the 10:30pm topless show.

After 'Jubilee!' lets out at midnight, you and your lovely lady can either stroll on over to Sugar Factory for a magnificent Midnight chocolate dessert for two to share, or y'all can head on up to the Chateau Nightclub & Gardens for a balmy night of dancing beneath the Eiffel Tower.

The T-Mobile Arena is less than a month from opening.
