A collage of impressions from China...more to come. Look carefully -- there is much to understand about China. My own "oil paint" textures used.

Time to revisit some photos from one of mine favorite places here in US. The Epcot park at Disney World, Florida. This China pavilion was photographed so many times but I've never seen it edited in B&W. I like dramatic B&W edits, hope you'll like it?

China Camp State Park in California, USA, a historic Chinese American shrimp-fishing village and a salt marsh. The park is located in San Rafael, California on the shore of San Pablo Bay.

A Chinese shrimp-fishing village thrived on this site in the 1880s. Nearly 500 people, originally from Canton, China, lived in the village. In its heyday, there were three general stores, a marine supply store and a barber shop.

Being the largest Tibetan Buddhist monastery in Yunnan, Songzanlin Monastery(松赞林寺), also known as Guihua Monastery, is one of the famous monasteries in the Kang region. The monastery is located near Shangri -La( 香格里拉) County, at the foot of Foping Mountain(佛屏山).

We visited my sister over the weekend and I attacked her china cabinet with my camera.

In a foggy day, in a small village in China, nobody was there except one girl walking along the stone street.

China town is a neighborhood in Manhattan, New York. From ethnical perspective, it's one of the oldest neighborhoods in New York city.

It's probably not as colorful as anybody would imagine a typical Chinese neighborhood to be. But, it definitely resembles a simple Chinese neighborhood with its shops and foods.

I took this picture from my walk on Manhattan Bridge a few days ago. I loved every bit of that visit.

"The China–Kazakhstan border, or the Sino-Kazakhstan border (Kazakh: Қазақстан-Қытай мемлекеттiк шекарасы, Russian: Казахстанско-китайская государственная граница, Chinese: 中哈边界; pinyin: Zhōng-Hā biānjiè) is the international border between the People's Republic of China and the Republic of Kazakhstan. The border line between the two countries has been largely inherited from the border existing between the USSR and the PRC, and, earlier, between the Russian Empire and the Qing Empire; however, it has been fully demarcated only in the late 20th and early 21st century. According to the international boundary commissions that have carried out the border demarcation, the border is 1782.75 km long." Wikipedia.

I wanted to go big or go home so-to-speak with this shot. Bold, striking, and dramatic are three adjectives that come to mind when seeing this scene in person. A low-perspective, wide shot of The Temple of Heaven hopefully shows its beauty and grandeur well here.
