Time to revisit some photos from one of mine favorite places here in US. The Epcot park at Disney World, Florida. This China pavilion was photographed so many times but I've never seen it edited in B&W. I like dramatic B&W edits, hope you'll like it?

China, certainly is beautiful there ~~

Shanghai.

It is not at all what I was expecting. The city is progressive, vibrant and growing at a breakneck pace. I tried to capture the mood in this photo. I was hoping to get some shots of classic China, but the attitude here is toward new and bigger. The slogan for the city is, "Better City, Better Life."

This is a photo from the Miao Dragon Lantern Festival in Taijiang, Guizhou, China. Teams of 8 to 10 men haul around dragon puppets while hundreds of others try to burn them down using giant firecrackers. This is the Miao variation of the lantern festival held throughout China on the fifteenth day of the first month.

"The China–Kazakhstan border, or the Sino-Kazakhstan border (Kazakh: Қазақстан-Қытай мемлекеттiк шекарасы, Russian: Казахстанско-китайская государственная граница, Chinese: 中哈边界; pinyin: Zhōng-Hā biānjiè) is the international border between the People's Republic of China and the Republic of Kazakhstan. The border line between the two countries has been largely inherited from the border existing between the USSR and the PRC, and, earlier, between the Russian Empire and the Qing Empire; however, it has been fully demarcated only in the late 20th and early 21st century. According to the international boundary commissions that have carried out the border demarcation, the border is 1782.75 km long." Wikipedia.

I've taken probably more pics of the China pavilion than any other pavilion in the World Showcase probably 2 fold. Hence the title "China Again". What keeps me coming back is the many different angles you can shoot the temple from. And each one has great foreground interest. You've got lush greenery, interesting rocks and boulders, the beautiful reflecting ponds. It makes it really hard to go wrong no matter what angle you shoot from. Enjoy.

Five Color Sea is the highest Lake on Yading Mountain. The lake appeared front of our eyes suddenly when we climbed up the mountain painstakingly at noon time. Cloud got thicker and thicker, like they were lying on the mountain peak and we could even touch it. A beautiful blue color was reflected from the lake water. We breathed more rapid because of the high altitude. I got this wonderful shot at this time.

Located in the Olympic Green. The design was awarded to a submission from the Swiss architecture firm Herzog & de Meuron in April 2003 after a bidding process that included 13 final submissions. The design, which originated from the study of Chinese ceramics, implemented steel beams in order to hide supports for the retractable roof; giving the stadium the appearance of a "Bird's nest".

Life in China is not simple for its women.

About this sound in ancient times meaning 'Blazing Beacon') is a county-level city (pop. 187,578 (2000)) in northwestern Gansu province, Western China. It was a major stop on the ancient Silk Road. It was also known at times as Shāzhōu (沙州), or 'City of Sands',[1] "or Dukhan as the Turkis call it."[2] It is best known for the nearby Dunhuang Caves.

Administratively, the county-level city of Dunhuang is part of the prefecture-level city of Jiuquan.

It is situated in a rich oasis containing Crescent Lake and Mingsha Shan (鸣沙山, meaning "Singing-Sand Mountain"). Mingsha Shan is named after the sound of the wind whipping off the dunes, the singing sand phenomenon.

It commands a strategic position at the crossroads of the ancient Southern Silk Route and the main road leading from India via Lhasa to Mongolia and Southern Siberia,[1] as well as controlling the entrance to the narrow Hexi Corridor which led straight to the heart of the north Chinese plains and the ancient capitals of Chang'an (today known as Xi'an) and Luoyang.[3]

The whole lake was frozen and many took this opportunity to walk across (1.5km long) from one end to the other. Without fail I when to join them too. It was quite an expereience and a once a year affair. It is not any other lake. Its the artificial Kunming lake at Summer Palace. The lake was dug out from hard ground to create a playground for the Emperor to relax during the Summer heat. Now for the common people. Besides the lake, there is an artificial hill mould by the earth from the lake, stands a Buddhist temple overlooking the entire lake. There is also the infamous marble boat. Beijing, China.

The middle of the lake forms the border between the Ninglang County of Yunnan Province and the Yanqing County of Sichuan province. The formation of the lake is thought to have occurred in a geological fault belonging to the geological age of the Late Cenozoic. It is an alpine lake at an elevation of 2,685 metres (8,809 ft) and is the highest lake in the Yunnan Province. The lake is surrounded by mountains and has five islands, four peninsulas, fourteen bays and seventeen beaches.
