The "Old Barn" in Ballymagorry, Strabane, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland
Most of my images have the history/story of each building or area attached. However once in a while a scene like this comes along. Ive looked everywhere online & asked many people but to no avail can I find the history on this old Leckpatrick barn/mill. I guess the real reason is because its not famous or symbolic to many people living today, so it stands lonesome & hidden away in this field along an extremely quiet country road....
We may not know its history or stories etc but I can tell you that this old barn means the world to me. My friends & I spent our childhood/teens meeting up, playing & camping out etc inside this old building. Some of the best summers of my life were spent around here.
A few evenings ago I finally decided to return here after almost 20 years! Just to capture this image for my own personal collection. Instead of saving it for myself Ive instead decided to share it with you all. I believe that just because the history isn’t available or that this old building may only hold personal memories for a select few, isn’t a reason for others not to appreciate it
Hope you enjoy! Please favourite & add me as a contact to view my newest upcoming works, Thank you
Maybe this is kind of silly. I was just having fun with some really old dolls

This Indian Almond tree has been there for many years. It has
long become a crucial part of people lives or memories. I used to go to this district in my teens on weekends, for there was a small bookstore and a famous beach a few minutes away. People in the neighborhood insist on keeping the tree. I'm glad I still have the chance to capture the image...

Childhood's End - Sir Arthur C. Clarke
When my passed enough time; my memory recall - 'Where are you going?'. I'm stopped. I think you also. Most of us leave place, time and memory also. Sometimes we're unexpectedly going to be a alienated.
Nowadays ago I feel a boy (Faruque) knock my memories and I shoot him.
But he is still alive in my photographs with my/our childhood territory...
This photo was taken on May 1, 2011 in Savar.
heaps and heaps of snow are not something to worry about.
it only means you can go on an expedition, climb to the top of a snow mountain, build an igloo, run around in the snow
it means you can have tons and tons of fun!!
This photo is an entry in Vietnam in Black and White's Childhood Contest.

So yesterday I spent hours re-visiting a childhood haunt. It was as if a special light show was being put on for me to re-capture something of the dreamscape I remembered. For those of you familiar with elements of my rather vivid imagination - THIS is where faereleves originated.
ABSOLUTELY best seen On Black.
There's more to follow, but this one was MY 'moment captured' yesterday. I hope that for some of you I have been able to convey something of that....despite the blur....which technically speaking means I should have ditched it!

“When childhood dies, its corpses are called adults and they enter society, one of the politer names of hell. That is why we dread children, even if we love them, they show us the state of our decay.”
- Brian W. Aldiss
This little boy made a perfect model for this shot. There was a melancholy feel to the beach that day, and it fit with how I was feeling when I looked at him. We all start out with so many childhood dreams that become modified as we get older, and finally, for most of us, fade away, replaced by the reality of life as it unfolds.
This was taken somewhere between Flagler Beach and St. Augustine, and I'm thinking was probably near Marineland. It wasn't terribly cold at this spot, but just a little further north in St. Augustine, it was windy and almost bitterly cold by comparison! It's amazing how different it can be from one part of Florida to another, but the thing to keep in mind when traveling here is that it's a long state, and going from one area to the next is like going from one state to another, or even from one country to another overseas! Key West could be having an 80 degree day, while Jacksonville is in the 30's. Wind chill along the coast even made my friend from Wisconsin cold on this particular day!
Fortunately, we were able to grab some wonderful shots on the way up, before we felt like staying in the car out of the wind and cold!

Childhood is that wonderful time of life when all you need to do to lose weight is take a bath.
