Merci à Jean Philippe, pour m'avoir donné le lieu des jonquilles sauvages ! :)

This is a view from the Eiffel Tower, across the Champ de Mars with the Ecole Militaire at the far end.

Per Wikipedia: “The Champ de Mars ; (English: Field of Mars) is a large public greenspace in Paris, France, located in the seventh arrondissement, between the Eiffel Tower to the northwest and the École Militaire to the southeast. The park is named after the Campus Martius ("Mars Field") in Rome, a tribute to the Latin name of the Roman God of war. The name also alludes to the fact that the lawns here were formerly used as drilling and marching grounds by the French military.”

We were there for Easter Sunday. The area was busy and well used for Easter egg hunts as well as other Easter activities.

Our trip was a little before many of the fountains in Paris were in service for the season and before many of the trees had leafed out for Spring.

More than 300,000 people filled the Champs Elysees, the area around the Arc de Triomphe and the Place de la Concorde on Sunday night, partying into the early hours, singing the Marseillaise, setting off firecrackers and blaring horns until the sun rose. The Avenue des Champs-Élysées is a boulevard in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, 1.9 kilometres long and 70 metres wide, which runs between the Place de la Concorde and the Place Charles de Gaulle, where the Arc de Triomphe is located. It is famous for its theatres, cafés and luxury shops, and for the military parade that takes place each year on the avenue on 14 July to celebrate Bastille Day. The name is French for Elysian Fields, the paradise for dead heroes in Greek mythology.

Dans un champ de blés

Repéré en promenade je reviens le soir pour essayer de capturer les derniers rayons dans ces boules qui savent si bien capter la lumière..

"Champ" ist am 18. April in Hannover geboren.

Es tut mir leid, dass es kein besseres Fotos gibt.

Champ ist noch zu klein. Er darf noch nicht nach draußen.

Sobald er raus darf, gibt es hoffentlich bessere Aufnahmen ;)

I'm sorry, there's no better photos.

Champ is still too small. He or she can still go out there.

As soon as he or she can get out, there's hopefully better images ;)

The Avenue des Champs-Élysées is a street in Paris, France. With its cinemas, cafés, luxury specialty shops and clipped horse-chestnut trees, the Champs-Élysées is arguably one of the world's most famous streets, and is one of the most expensive strips of real estate in the world.

Several French monuments are also on the street, including the Arc de Triomphe and the Place de la Concorde. The name is French for Elysian Fields, the place of the blessed dead in Greek mythology. According to a much used description, the Champs-Élysées is la plus belle avenue du monde ("the most beautiful avenue in the world").
