Chain of Rocks Bridge from the Illinois side of the Mississippi River. The Bridge was the route used by U.S. Route 66 to cross over the Mississippi. Its most notable feature is a 22-degree bend occurring at the middle of the crossing, necessary for navigation on the river. Originally a motor route, it now carries walking and biking trails over the river. The bridge was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.

Rick and I both had pieces in Chain Letter - a group show in which approximately 1700 artists contributed. 10 artists were chosen by the curators to include a piece. Each of those artists invited 10 more artists and so on!

I went to pick up our pieces today and brought them to the car before I thought to photograph them! Perhaps I will photograph them at home and add them to the set later.

Here is a sampling of what was included.

I was practicing some disc golf stuff and, of course, it led to some photos. Sharp sky and some different angles.
