A lot of chain link fences around the Golden Gate. People have to make holes in them to be able to take pictures.
This is a building housing ICG, a company specialized in shipbuilding. To symbolize this relation an artwork was created in 1996, consisting of a big chain anchoring the whole building to the shipping traffic. At this part of the building the chain is merged with a stairway fire exit.

Getting back into the car after running some errands in Norhteast Philly, I was thrilled when this guy flew by and landed right on a chain link fence near the car.
I grabbed my camera off the back seat. I was afraid that when I rolled down the window he'd take off, but he/she didn't seem to be bothered by me at all, and let me take several nice shots.
I'm never quite sure of hawk id's. I think this is a Cooper's Hawk. Someone let me know if that's right please!
The pier at North Berwick, East Lothian, Scotland, one of my favourite towns to visit in Scotland. A busy summer ahead at North Berwick with the British Open golf championship due to be played a few miles away at Muirfield.
Bumped in to Dougie Williams at this spot who has posted a really nice comp of this. Always good to meet other flicker folks out and about.
This shot was taken with the Lee Big Stopper.

The Chain Bridge is one of the best known landmarks of Budapest. The bridge straddles the Danube between Széchenyi Square on the Pest side and Clark Ádám Square in Buda.
One of the first walkers across the bridge were the soldiers of the Hungarian Army of Independence. They retreated from the Austrian troops in 1849. The Austrians attempted to blow up the bridge, but luckily the explosives did not go off.
The bridge facilitated the union of Buda, Pest and Óbuda in 1873 and contributed to Budapest's boom.
I walked on the bridge coming from the St. Stephen's Basilica.. The view is beautiful.
Thank you for taking the time to visit, comment, fave or invite. I really appreciate them all.

The Széchenyi Chain Bridge (Hungarian: Széchenyi lánchíd, Hungarian pronunciation: [ˈseːt͡ʃeːɲi ˈlaːnt͡shiːd]) is a suspension bridge that spans the River Danube between Buda and Pest, the western and eastern sides of Budapest, the capital of Hungary. Designed by the English engineer William Tierney Clark and built by the Scottish engineer Adam Clark, it was the first permanent bridge across the Danube in Hungary. It was opened in 1849.
It is anchored on the Pest side of the river to Széchenyi (formerly Roosevelt) Square, adjacent to the Gresham Palace and the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, and on the Buda side to Adam Clark Square, near the Zero Kilometre Stone and the lower end of the Castle Hill Funicular, leading to Buda Castle.
The bridge has the name of István Széchenyi, a major supporter of its construction, attached to it, but is most commonly known as the "Chain Bridge". At the time of its construction, it was regarded as one of the modern world's engineering wonders. It has asserted an enormous significance in the country's economic, social and cultural life, much as the Brooklyn Bridge has in New York and United States of America. Its decorations made of cast iron, and its construction, radiating calm dignity and balance, have elevated the Chain Bridge to a high stature in Europe. It became a symbol of advancement, national awakening, and the linkage between East and West
The Chain Bed has been revamped! Seats one to four avatars for lays, cuddles, display, or play. Poses are suitable for doms and subs of any gender identity, and include bento animations for your hands (will not break faces). There are PG and adult animation options for solo users, couples, threesomes, and foursomes. The bed dispenses basic cuffs to sitter 1 that are LockGuard compatible and provide particle chains for bondage animations. A working demo is available to test inworld in the upstairs adult section.
