Training my lens on the rusted chains in the foreground, it gave the Golden Gate Bridge a nice slightly blurred soft effect as a result.
Thank you for your kind visits and comments.
Shackles, chains, cuffs, restraints, all are used on common crminals or people that are dangerous to themselves or others. Why then would they be used otherwise...smacks of irony to me.

This photo is a little surprise. It was not the view initially sought, but I was impressed by the bokeh generated by chains! This is the kind of unexpected that I particularly like in the photograph !

Given the name Chain Rock because it once held one end of a heavy chain across the entrance to St. John's Harbour. First used back in 1673 during the Anglo-Dutch war to prevent Dutch pirate ships from entering the harbour and attacking the city. Today it is easily noticed by the white pyramid with a red top mounted on top of it to mark it's location for ships.

Feeling frustrated today, found mice droppings in my house and now I can't relax! I hate mice and my home is supposed to be the one place that I can feel safe but now I feel invaded. Off to clean, set more decon and traps. Boo!

This is a picture of the famous Chain Bridge in Budapest, Hungary. I thought I'd take the bridge from this angle as it is more unusual. Taken during the blue hour to capture the sweet colors.
