Thanks for all your wonderful support on my work in Photography,

Gaston (aka Gasssman).

I have been off Flickr for a few days as I had a skin infection which required treatment in hospital. A few of you have contacted me a bit worried. I am now well and I can resume my Liege-Guillemins series :-)

I'm back in Sydney after four great days in the red centre visiting Uluru, Kata Tjuta and Alice Springs. This wasn't a purely photography focused trip however I did have secret hopes of photographing a sunset and a sunrise over both Uluru and Kata Tjuta. My previous post ( was my one and only sunrise morning at Uluru and thankfully I was able to get a shot.

My sunsets weren't as easy with the first evening being a flat clouded over day so with only one more sunset opportunity at Uluru left I was really hoping that my luck would change.

Things weren't looking good and I had already packed my tripod and camera back into the car before a fleeting moment of light broke through a small gap in the thick clouds on the horizon. I grabbed my gear and was able to get just one shot before the light had gone.

Press "L" to view this national icon on black and, as always, thanks for looking!

......may you be the center of attraction in a wonderful way to someone this week.

Taken on a walk and shoot with friends from the Long Eaton camera club, with the sun setting to the west, the light over the beautiful gardens had a wonderful quality

This photo was done for "Macro Mondays" and the theme of the week was “Smaller than 2 Inches (5 cm)”.

I haven't been able to spend much time at flickr recently but I'll try and visit as many of you as I can. Teresa x
