Cello Song-Nick Drake

"La prima cosa per fare musica è non fare rumore."

(José Bergamín, El cohete y la estrella; La cabeza a pájaros, 1981)

Lili is a great cellist. She loves to play the cello outside and wait for her little animal friends that always come to listen to her music. ^__^

As you can see, the snow has already melted, which makes our backyard look super bare. :(

I hope you all have had a nice week! <3

It's about time that I had a photo shoot with one of the loves of my life. This is my lovely (loaned) cellos, type uncertain.

Vignetting credit to my good friend and fella photographer Emily Moy!

Music was my refuge. I could crawl into the notes and curl my back to loneliness. ~Maya Angelou

Fiddles, Cello, $400

Last night a had a dream.......

The second of three cello pictures. This one was taken from the top of the bridge, looking down the fingerboard, and was lit from the top left.

Nature abstract, tendrils.

This shot was Inspired by this photographer: www.flickr.com/photos/lothians/

I saw his work first on Flickr, then in Popular photography magazine a couple years ago and had to give this particular composition a try, since we do have a cello.

This is, of course, my daughter, and she plays violin, but that didn't work for this picture:) I have another i'll post later. I think i over did the contrast in post, but i still liked it.

I hope you are well my friends in this busy holiday season.

Thank you for the views, comments, and faves. I'll catch up with you all today. Have a nice day.
