Ironic post-modern pop-rock/techno pranksters

Yes, it's a bit silly. I meant to do something with the windows, but this came out first.

This band is named after the 1999 Theory of deadly initials that supposedly showed a link between "negative" initials (like ASS, BUM, SAD or DIE) and shorter lifespans. It was quickly refuted.

Their album takes its title from the following quote:

Better fare hard with good men than feast it with bad.

-- Thomas Paine (1737 - 1809)

Thought I try a smoky jazz record cover. I know it's supposed to be CD, but vinyl is better for graphic design. Plus the photo that popped up for me randomly was begging for old school vinyl treatment. Photo taken by Red Leaf Studios. Graeme "Changa" Langlands is actually an Australian former rugby league player.

Ruth Lawrence's superbly ethereal album about her beloved dog, the only caring being she had during a time of need. Lawrence's haunting vocals underscore the biting lyrics which condemn an unsympathetic populace while she grieves over the death of her mother. It may be easy to criticize Lawrence for turning to bestial love during a time of crisis, but her eerie melodies ease the listener into a crazed psychosis.
