Fall has brought some dramatic sunrises to Washington, and this morning's view was no different from just inside Lincoln Memorial. You don't often get an amazing view like this all to yourself.

Since 1570 there is the Strasbourg Christmas market,

which, due to its size and its location in the heart of the European capital with security counts to the most famous Christmas markets.

Young and old stroll from booth to booth and enjoy treats like gingerbread, pretzels, candy, Christmas cookies and mulled wine.

Finalmente chegou novembro! Último mês de ralação... A partir de agora, vai ser comum ver luzes de natal pela cidade, e papai noel pelo shooping. Enfim, o fim do ano tá aí.

Tirei essa foto há exato 1 ano atrás! Dia 01/11/09. No mesmo dia em que tirei essa. Estava revirando alguns arquivos aqui e e encontrei essa foto. Fiz um beelo tratamento. HDR, tratamento de cores, realçar certas coisas, etc.. Me amarrei no resultado.

Fica aí a dica. Dêem mais valor à beleza da sua cidade.

Had a blast at the KMADD Hunger Games Event! Really fun styling challenge!

Well, I am still shooting more portraits recently than cityscapes, landscape and archtiecture. But I am in Berlin at the moment and I brought my tripod and camera as I always did, when travelling. So I took this shot (and some more coming up) from the Marie-Elisabeth-Lüders-Haus in Berlin, which is located right behind the Reichstag-Building, where the German Congress meets. It is used for political meetings and more. It also has an symbolical act. It connects western and eastern Berlin above the Spree River which besides the Berlin Wall devided Berlin until 1989. Just three days ago Germany celebrated its 25th anniversary of the reunion.

Have a great day, folks.

Montpelier, Vermont - the smallest capital city in the USA with an estimated population of just over 7,000. Shot with the Olympus E-5.

Ottawa's Cruise Liners are parked for the season. Not going anywhere unles the captain presses "ice crush" or "heat on" button.

The Capital Wheel is a Ferris wheel at National Harbor, Maryland, just outside Washington, D. C. in the United States. It opened on May 23, 2014.

The wheel was conceived by National Harbor developer Milton Peterson and inspired by the Roue de Paris. Built by Chance Rides of Wichita, Kansas, it has an overall height of 175 feet and sits on a 770-foot-long pier extending into the adjacent Potomac River, easily visible to passengers on flights to or from National Airport. The 165-foot diameter wheel carries 42 climate-controlled passenger gondolas, each able to seat eight people, including a VIP gondola that can be rented for weddings or celebrations.

So far most of my fall shots have not been grand views like this, mostly due to the fact that we have had a string of unfortunately cloudless weather. I decided this shot was worth while however, because of the amazing glow on the Capital Peaks. The beautiful thing about these scenes is not only the majestic mountains, but the incredible colors throughout the scene. I can only imagine what a shot like this would be like with some clouds!

The Minnesota State Capital is located in Minnesota's capital city, Saint Paul. The building is set in a landscaped campus. Various monuments are to its sides and front. Behind, a bridge spans University Avenue, and in front others were later added over the sunken roadway of Interstate 94, thus preserving the sight lines. Set near the crest of a hill, from the Capital steps a panoramic view of downtown St. Paul is presented. The building was designed by Cass Gilbert and modeled after Saint Peter's Basilica in Rome.

I've been looking for a good viewpoint from which to grab a shot of the Albany skyline at sunset, and I think I've found it- the parking lot of the Holiday Inn Express in East Greenbush. I was actually here to apartment shop, so I didn't have a tripod on me, or I would have done this shot a little differently to squeeze some extra sharpness out of it. No worries though, now that I've found a good spot, I can always come back!
