El Cañón de Añisclo, es uno de los parajes más espectaculares de Aragón, producto de la intensa acción erosiva primero glaciar y más tarde fluvial por parte del río Bellós. Está orientado de norte a sur y se prolonga a lo largo de casi 25 kilómetros, desde el Circo de Añisclo (a los pies de Monte Perdido) hasta la confluencia con el valle de Aso. Su altitud mínima es de 700 m, en la Fuente de los Baños; y la máxima de 3.022 m, en la Punta de las Olas.

Un cañón es un accidente geográfico provocado por un río que excava en terrenos blandos una profunda hendidura de paredes casi verticales. Numerosas y vertiginosas cascadas, un frondoso y bien conservado bosque y la sensación de estar en un lugar único, fueron razones más que suficientes para incluirlo en el Parque Nacional de Ordesa y Monte Perdido en los años 80.


The Canyon of Añisclo, is one of the most spectacular places of Aragon, product of the intense erosive action first glacier and later fluvial by part of the river Bellós. A canyon is a geographical accident caused by a river that digs in soft terrain a deep cleft of almost vertical walls. Numerous and dizzying waterfalls, a leafy and well conserved forest and the sensation of being in a unique place, were more than sufficient reasons to include it in the National Park of Ordesa and Monte Perdido in the 80s.

This time sth went wrong with developing process, but luckily I menaged to save some negs. This is the first one.

Edited, changed to rgb mode (jpeg in greyscale turned out to be much darker, so I reuploaded it).
