Olympus OM-4Ti and Olympus OM-D E-M1. About 27 years of R&D between these two little fellas. Both awesome in their own ways.

It would've been awesome to take this photo with the M.Zuiko 25mm f1.8 but alas don't own it, so had to make the match with M.Zuiko 17mm vs Zuiko 50mm.

Strobist info: one griddedn Olympus FL-50R shot from above, other one from the left with small softbox and from the right one FL-600r shot through diffuser.

I wanted to replace my G12 which is not fast enough when I want to shoot in the street.

the Fuji X10 seems to be the perfect gear for my needs.

Let's see in some days how it goes ;)

Estou aos poucos tirando a poeira da minha câmera. : )

Fotografei você na minha rolêiflex...

I put the camera on timer, put it in front of my iPod (It has a screen protector that always works as a mirror when you have the screen turned off) and then made it take a pic of itself lol.

Placed a small spot light in a semi dark room to the right of the camera..

In post cropped and brought down the exposure on the background..

Early examples of the Cycle Poco and the Folding Poco cameras with uncommon black leather covering on the interior. Made by the Rochester Camera Manufacturing Co. in c 1896.

The fog obscured the shot, reminding me of the name of the first camera, a 'camera obscura' latin for 'dark chamber'. Somehow seemed appropriate.

Not every model, and certainly not every variation, but a pretty good sampling of Ciro's history:

In front, a Sears Marvel-Flex, flanked by two Ciro-Flex A's, all dating from c.1941 (only the A on the right has a serial number).

Behind those, a B in the center, a C on the left and an early example of the F on the right, all from c.1948-49;

And in the rear, a DeJur DR-10 from 1953. There ought to be a Graflex 22 back here, but I'm fresh out of those at the moment.

I got this beauty recently at an auction. It had an exposed roll of film inside. I'm going to get it developed. Stay tuned.

UPDATE: I'm disappointed to report that nothing was on the film.

Long after I posted this photo to flickr in 2015, views of it suddenly jumped by almost 1,200 in the first three weeks of March 2016.

Wondering why, I searched the web and found that "Nail It!" magazine had used it in a March 2 post with attribution and a link. I am happy for them to use it. It's a little odd they did not tell me, but that's okay, they are probably busy people.

I'm surprised their readers click on the link, but at least some of them do. The view count went from 846 before March 2 to reach an even 2,000 on March 24. Tiny numbers by flickr standards, I know, but this is now my most viewed photo.

I have another shot of an old Rolleiflex, views of which have jumped by about 600 over the past few weeks, but I haven't figured out why yet.

The smallest 35 mm camera ever made in mass production (made in Singapore). Modern digital pocket cameras are smaller, but I found the pictures on Flickr made by this filmbox of great quality, so I decided to buy one, also inspired by a photograph made by Paul van Eik. The name LED refers to lightmeter indicator within the viewer, but it needs a battry which is not available today for reasons of environmental pollution. It also works on a pile of SR44 batteries but that costs about 20 euros, and I already have a separate lightmeter, so no LED for me.

The picture is too green, and I leave it that way as a protest against the overdone blue of the colour black which I can't get rid of in digital cameras, without affecting the other colours too much.

The Radcliffe Camera built in 1737-1749 as Oxford's science library, is closed to the public making it one of the most mysterious of all Oxford's distinctive landmarks.

Camera toss. SOOC.

The quality could be better, I'm sorry - they just appeared too fast for me... ;-)... and disappeared even faster ;-)! But I like the scene despite that, hope you too ;-)

lately, i have been thinking about life. my life. others lives. what i want to do with my future. i have visions in my head - how i want to live and i just wonder if i can ever make it happen.

i am thankful for everything i have. my family. the love. the loss. with the loss of one person or thing - i feel i have gained something i could have never had without it. my friends. wealth. health.

i want to do photography - obviously. but maybe something more like photo journalism. i want a job that will allow me to travel and see the world. sometimes i feel so stuck though. like i don't have the means to go to college again. i can't get approved for students loans & no money to pay for it myself.

i want to marry someone with a big heart. someone who wants to travel with me and see the world and learn. i want to have kids and teach them to be selfless and do good in this crazy world. i want my husband and i to join the peace corp and do something to help others - more good than we could probably imagine that we are doing. i want my kids to see other countries - rich & poor. i want them to learn languages. i want them to be exposed to cultures. i want to share these experiences with someone, not alone.

i am so scared i will always be alone. i am scared i won't find that guy to love me and share these things with me. i feel like i've found him but he is miles away and i am too scared to leave this stupid town alone. maybe he isn't as special as i think and i don't know him really well but my heart is telling me something is there. how am i supposed to ignore that?
