The building located at 101-103 W. Oklahoma Avenue in downtown Guthrie is a lovely, ornate two-story brick and sandstone building, constructed in 1890 and 1893, with a long, interesting history. The building's Russian capped oriel, beveled corner, elaborate metal cornices, arched windows, and combined use of native sandstone and dark red brick suggest it was a Joseph Foucart design."
The 1900 apartment building is located at 317 Bleecker in Manhattan. The monogrammed "G" on the fire escape were added around the 1940's and perhaps represent the cross street the building is near,Groves St.If you view larger you'll see some faces near the center.I personally like the fire escape reflection in the window.

Das Flatiron Gebäude gehört zu meinen liebsten Häusern. Die einzigartige Fassade und Bauweise sind schon etwas ganz Besonderes für mich. Wenn ich auch nicht erklären kann warum.
The Flatiron Building is one of my favorite houses. The unique façade and design are something very special for me. Though I can not explain why.

The Puck Building was a publishing building constructed in 1887.It was named after a magazine circulation called Puck. Puck is also the character in Shakespeare's Midsummer's Night Dream. The daughter of one the magazine's founders supposedly posed for the gilded image you see atop of the building. There's a duplicate in the front of the building at the entrance (not seen here). In 2004 NYU acquired three floors in the building for their Graduate School of Public Service and Department of Sociology nyhistorywalks.wordpress.com/tag/puck-building/
The Flatiron Building was designed by Chicago's Daniel Burnham as a vertical Renaissance palazzo with Beaux-Arts styling. Unlike New York's early skyscrapers, which took the form of towers arising from a lower, blockier mass, such as the contemporary Singer Building (built 1902–08), the Flatiron Building epitomizes the Chicago school conception: like a classical Greek column, its facade – limestone at the bottom changing to glazed terra-cotta from the Atlantic Terra Cotta Company in Tottenville, Staten Island as the floors rise is divided into a base, shaft and capital.
Created for the Artistic Manipulation Group's MIXMASTER CHALLENGE #26.
CHEF Beth challenges us to create an architectural, urban artwork. Here are the ingredients:
➤ The focus of your image must be on urban architecture.
➤ It must include at least one reflection.
➤ And use light in an interesting/creative way.
➤ Your use of color, in general, must be subtle, not bold.
➤ NO REAL PEOPLE (statues and mannequins are okay as long as they're of minor importance).
