South Canadian River Arm, Eufaula lake..... This is one of the last shots I took the other evening on the river. It really was an amazing sunset. The golden reflections in the sand remind me of little flecks of gold, hence the title. Thanks so much to all of you, your support is inspiring!!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR AND BEST WISHES TO YOU ALL!!!!!!

Nothing Gold Can Stay

Nature's first green is gold,

Her hardest hue to hold.

Her early leaf's a flower;

But only so an hour.

Then leaf subsides to leaf.

So Eden sank to grief,

So dawn goes down to day.

Nothing gold can stay.

~ Robert Frost~

That fence again, lit by the Marbella rooftop shopping complex lights while the sun rises in the background. The rooftop is a big pedestrian area providing a viewing area of the Mediterranean shore.

Thanks to Paul Grand for textures

Broighter Gold rapeseed fields with Binevenagh Mountain as the backdrop. The setting sun briefly produced some light on the rock face of Binevenagh Mountain before it disappeared behind the clouds.

Have a nice Sunday my friends :)

The last rush of gold across the city before night sets in...

on the way home...I took several Raw photos to use them as HDR. This time I just gave some more light to the darkest one of this series and refrained from using a HRD - Program

Better viewed large please xx

Explored. Thank you xx

I love the long shadows the last light of day makes on the sand.
