From a recent visit to Brighton in October 2017. Was up early hoping on a nice sunrise, but instead it was a more dramatic mood that waited for me.

e Brighton Wheel, also known during its planning and construction phase as the Brighton O and the Wheel of Excellence, is a transportable Ferris wheel installation erected in October 2011 on the seafront in Brighton, part of the English city of Brighton and Hove. It has planning permission to remain in place until 2016. Situated below the East Cliff near Brighton Pier and built with private funding, its promoters anticipate that several hundred thousand visitors per year will experience the 12-minute ride. The wheel's location in a conservation area with many residential buildings has proved controversial.
Brighton beach is perhaps not best known for its concrete. But there's millions of tons of it just a mile from the pier where a marina was built with public money in the 1960s.
Because of the cliff, a series of flyovers had to be built to allow car access to the yachts.

A shot taken today on my Leica X, still getting to grips with it, but this was a full manual shot with the falling sun just out of the image to the right hand corner.
I have converted this to monochrome in lightroom, as it provided the most dynamic looking image.
I will post more from my visit to Brighton, including a few street shots while I was having fun.
