Pic du Midi d'Ossau (2,884 m) is a mountain rising above the Ossau Valley in the French Pyrenees. Peak reflected on the Lac d´Ayous. Just a few seconds before the sunrise.

The morning sun breaks through the cloud and lights the Borrowdale Valley and Keswick. Looking from Falcon Crag over to Walla Crag and Skiddaw beyond.

Why is it so hard? It was so long ago I don't know where to start or what to say to you.

It's not too late, maybe we just needed time.

Can we try to let it go? If we don't then we'll never know.

I try to break through but you know that it's up to you...

It was very foggy this morning. The sun was breaking through and the leaves are starting to turn colour so time to get out there and shoot..

Thanks in advance for your visits, faves and comments. I believe the best way to say thank you is to post more pictures. Cheers!

For Macro Monday's "Broken" Theme. Thought I'd combine a little "Intentional Blur" with "Egg". And with a catchy tune. In German we are calling a song which you can't get out of your mind an "Ohrwurm" = earworm.

A Happy Macro Monday, Everyone!

Break on Through and View Large on Black

You know the day destroys the night

Night divides the day

Tried to run

Tried to hide

Break on through to the other side

Break on through to the other side

Break on through to the other side, yeah

We chased our pleasures here

Dug our treasures there

But can you still recall

The time we cried

Break on through to the other side

Break on through to the other side

Yeah!

Break on Through -- The Doors

Wandering spirits

Roam and stutter

Around echoing voices

Left by souls

Residing somewhere

In structures

Time forgotten

Years and years ago.

Macro Mondays...Broken Perfume Bottle

From the Archives - Lamar Valley, Yellowstone National Park, February 2014

Conditions in the mountains can change very rapidly and even more so in the winter. There were times we would be driving along with beautiful blue skies and then within miles, we were engulfed in complete white out conditions. Definitely made for some very challenging photography but also provided some great opportunities that we don't get to see back home. This shot was taken shortly after a brief snowstorm, and as you can see, the sun was trying to break through those thick winter clouds. One of those "stop the car" moments which was a bit more challenging in and of itself on icy, snow packed roads, but my sherpa did a fabulous job :-)

Have a great Tuesday, and as always, many thanks for all your visits and kind words!!!!

'Cause I'm broken when I'm lonesome

And I don't feel right when you're gone away

Lyrics from Seether - Broken

I made that picture at my last trip to australia in 2013. At that day, we´ve been to the twelve apostles first and when the sunset slowly starts we decided to move on to the broken london bridge.

A few years ago it was connected to the main land, thats the reason why it´s nowadays called the broken london bridge.

For me, it´s one of the places around the world where you can imagine how beautiful the world is...

The theme for this week in the group Macro Mondays is "Broken". My hubby accidentaly broke the screen of his Nokia cellphone a couple of weeks ago but we still didn´t get rid of the phone so I decided to try with this theme, LOL! This is how it looks like, I wanted to have some colours so I turned it on and put it next to the window to get the reflection. It looks more like some abstract but the cracks are here :-))

Happy Macro Monday!

Broken.
