Last weekend I was on a short photo trip with bonnix (Scotty) and andywon. We decided to capture some autumn colors in the black forest area. We started on the Kaiserstuhl, where I took this image. With its curved hills the landscape really is picturesque. Autumn colors were not that present as we hoped them to be but nonetheless we had a great time.

Last capture for this day and the last in Frankfurt.

But I think I'll come back to explore more of this great city.

Please be patient, there are more shots. I'll upload it in the next days.

Some words to this shot. I tried something with a reflective umbrella and a Nikkor 85mm with high iso, but I think I didn't managed it right, so I had to do more in Lightroom afterwards.

Hope you like it anyway. :-)

See ya :-)

I was on a photo tour with my friend Martin in Mallorca. We tried to capture the sunrise at Cala des Moro. This is a capture minutes before the sunrise.

I'm not 100% happy with my results, but it was also nice to see this great landscape.

One of my colleagues had the great idea to start a near space balloon project. Many people did this before us, so we got some first information about this. In the next step, the complete team and i searched for suitable cameras and equipment, a transport box, parachute, helium gas, start approval and so on..

It is a lot of work to do, but it was worth it - we had so much fun to start the balloon and to recovery it 300km away. We couldn't wait to see the first pictures on the camera. :-)

I had to upload this one because my recent uploads all have a similar "warm" toning... So here is a "cold" one to add some contrast to my stream :) I hope you don't freeze now :P

It's a long exposure with tripod and nd filter in front of a really big puddle.

I was not sure about the cropping... there is too much room upwards but somehow I didn't want to cut off the clouds...

Last weekend I met up with mibreit, bonnix (Scotty), Maximilian Zimmermann, *Niceshoot*, asphericlens and andywon to shoot some landscape in the Saxon Switzerland region near Dresden.

Although I wasn't fully recovered from my illness the days before I decided to join this trip. I knew that it would get very cold and that we would not sleep that much in order to capture sunrise at isolated locations.

But fortunately it seems that this kind of acitivity didn't hurt my health at all. I feel good today :D

We visited a lot of beautiful places. I never thought that Germany could be that interesting... It is never too late to learn.

I took this photo at the "Kleiner Winterberg" before sunrise. We had to get up really early and had to hike some miles in the dark to reach this location by time.

High above the forest we reached the lookout on a big rock half an our before sunrise. Our effort was rewarded with one of the most stunning sceneries I have ever seen.
