Oh, how I love shooting in downtown San Diego. Not...
Got kicked out of the Convention Center by security. I wasn't about to debate with him, but the Convention Center is a public building (not to mention the fact that it was built in 1989, so it doesn't qualify for the Architectural Works Copyright Protection Act of 1990), therefore I had every right to photograph on site for nonprofit purposes without permission. I got the shots I needed, so we left without putting up a fight.
We walked a good distance through the Gaslamp and found this parking garage. The owners were super nice and didn't mind letting us use their wall, haha.

2015 Chevrolet Bolt EV Concept Interior features unique crossover proportions. A flat, flow-through floor adds to the roominess of the cabin. Slim-architecture seats mounted on exposed aluminum pedestals create a floating effect. The minimalist center console “floats” – suspended from the front seats. Leather wrapped electronic shifter with anodized orange accents adds to the hi-tech feel of interior.
This place is amazing! If you ever get anywhere near the New York 1000 Island area, you must see this. It has a sad history in that it was never actually finished due to the death of George Bolt's wife Louise.

bolts on a foot bridge, seems thy dont paint the foot bridges anymore. the paint can trap moisture underneath and cause a rust hole faster than bare metal. this bridge is no more than three years old
One of the only lightning bolts I was able to catch, I like its interesting shape. Taken from my deck outside Boulder, Colorado during a summer storm.
BOLT was the first movie we saw in 2009. We loved. Diana was very excited because of the trailers we saw and the commercials on disney Channel.
Everytime shw saw on the movie a little animal she said on her own words: "Daddy, give me one"

Good old bolt recycling. This bolt, which I cut in half, was recently reclaimed from the Garden Farme north of Minneapolis. It was surely going to be way too heavy to make into earrings, but I felt like it was its destiny. So I drilled it out on the lathe to remove 80% of its weight. Then I attached a little bronze jump ring and a hook and my sweet partner Liz P had some new earrings!
