This weeks Macro Mondays theme is Fastener.
Here is an interior view of a bolt. The items you see here, left to right, are the bolt, a nut, a bolting plate, a piece of channel strut, a washer, and the bolt head at the far right.
HMM.
On a construction site fence that has been re-assembled on numerous sites over the years, which explains the signs of wear on the nut. The bolt is 10mm in diameter. (The brackets join sections of steel fencing to each other.) This was a trial macro shot using a Meike 16mm AF extension tube on my Fujinon X lens. Edited in LR 6.9 with Fuji monochrome +R filter profile. [FUJI4984_lr_2000]

Kjeragbolten is located by the edge of the Kjerag mountain next to Lysefjorden in Rogaland/Norway. The boulder is wedged in a mountain crevice with a direct 241 meter drop below and an additional 735 meter gradient drop down to Lysefjorden. During our visit if was a bit rainy, and the boulder was actually a bit slippery...

As the sun is setting further South now I decided to try a sunset yesterday evening from my local beach at Hayling Island.
As the tide was low I went to the West Winner Sandbanks, when I arrived there was a lot of heavy cloud to West but a small strip of clear sky on the horizon so I patiently waited for the sun to appear in the clear sky and light up the clouds above.
I like the way the sun beam has highlighted in the ripples on the foreground sand providing a bit of interest!
0.8 second exposure using a Lee 0.9 + 0.6 (reversed) ND Grad filters.
