Bobbi Humphrey playing with The Original Superstars of Jaz Festival in Gent Belgium 2006

this is what i'm talking about. This was a popular jazz fusion album from the blue note label in like '73. Bobbi Humphrey is a beautiful female flutist, but the payoff is that its produced by the heavy Mizell Brothers. For $11, hell yeah.

a day well spent at the record store deserves a night well spent by the record player...even if your studio is in the noisy part of the Tenderloin.

Satin Doll Review by Andrew Hamilton

Named after Duke Ellington's classic 'Satin Doll' -- which producers Fonce Mizell and Freddie Perren give a '70s feel here - this delightful LP is further indication of Bobbi Humphrey's God-given gifts.
