I just was reading online about a precious young girl who was bullied over being plus sized. It tugged at my heart because I am all too familiar with what she's going through. There's a line in the Meghan Trainor song, "All About That Bass" that goes, "every inch of you is perfect from the bottom to the top." I love those words because they really resonated with me. Don't get me wrong, I know that people are bullied over being small as well. I just happen to more closely relate to the plus sized. Bullying of any kind really has no place in my life.

I spent several hours and days at the fabric store...looking at commercial patterns. Initially I wanted to design my own pattern, but....having no dress form, and heavy non drapy "plabric" , as well as being plus sized ...meant realistically accepting that I would purchase something garanteed to fit ME.
I came home with 3 different patterns, as I could not make up my mind for a few days...

Amy Schumer’s name is included on the cover alongside other A-listers like Melissa McCarthy and Adele. Here’s the problem with that, according to a post from Schumer’s Instagram account on Tuesday morning:

Model Crystal Renn. Though she's described as plus size, I'd hardly call being a size eight being plus sized. Still, she has a rockin' bod and I want to be her when I grow up.
